How do I rate this place? That is a tricky question. I had such a positive experience there.
The quality of the sushi was fantastic!
The atmosphere alone is worth the visit. The head chef is a very personable man. He had no qualms about shooting the breeze with his customers. I even raised a toast of Sake to his upcoming trip.
The price for the amount of food i received was very decent. $18.95 for their Super Deluxe Sushi platter. All rolls were of high quality. You can't beat a good chef.
I will be a repeat customer someday!

Randomly found this place after going to a party at the marina. The sushi was delicious and of excellent quality. Our meal was very reasonably priced. I listed $14 as my cost because I ate 2 rolls and edamame. I'd definitely eat here again!

Excellent sushi! This restaurant has had the same owner/manager/sushi chef for quite a few years. Every time I go they have had supremely fresh fish, and the uni (sea urchin) was fabulous. Great prices too.

I am a huge Sushi fan and just moved close to this restaurant. The food is good and the people that work there have been very nice. Can be slow at times but most likely due to a smaller staff. A good place to go to catch up with a friend over a good meal at the waterfront.

I have always vowed I would never write a negative restaurant review. I definitely believe in giving restaurants both service and food a benefit of the doubt. However I can say that I have never walked into a restaurant and have been treated so rudely before until this experience two days ago. I was looking to spend a nice summer evening with my 11-year-old son outside at this restaurant. There were three tables available outside. I went inside to get service and the owner ignored me for at least five minutes even though there was no one else waiting to be seated. I finally said something and the one lady was hostessing told me that it would be a 30 minute wait - I pointed out that there were three empty tables and also a fourth table that the diners had left. She literally rolled her eyes at me, sighed, and said that she would have to clean the table. We walked outside and waited and she continued to remove one item at a time off the table, purposefully with the intention of being rude. My 11-year-old son looked at me and said "they must really not want us here." After about another five minutes and her taking six trips to clear off two plates and a glass she came back and threw down one menu on the table. At this point I wasn't even sure I wanted to stay. But then she said it was going to be another 30 minutes because she had to take care of it to go order before ours. This is a small restaurant it was not crowded. From the moment we walked in both the man who I assume is the owner and the woman who was the hostess were completely rude and unprofessional. There was a very nice woman sitting outside who asked us if we wanted to join her at her table so we wouldn't have to wait, she had heard what was going on. And although the offer was very kind of her and she knew that my son was disappointed, there was no way I was going to give that restaurant one dime. Do yourself a favor if you don't want to be treated poorly and there are many many other choices and restaurants do not go here!!!

Very good experience!
I'm a sushi newbie, so I stuck with a "box" lunch, "teriyaki chicken, gyoza, tempura." It came with a large amount of chicken, grilled and drizzled with teriyaki sauce, served on onions, topped with a sprinkling of green onions. The tempura had two pieces of shrimp, a piece of broccoli, a carrot, a piece of zucchini, and a pice of... potato? A small salad with an extremely tasty dressing, slightly sweet. Two gyoza with sauce, and a scoop of sticky rice.
I also ordered edamame as an appetizer, and they came to the table nicely steamed and hot.
My friend ordered some sushi, and I tried a couple. I don't remember their names but they were a california roll and a "philly roll" (salmon and cream cheese), both tempura-fried before being cut and drizzled with a spicy sauce. They were both good, but the "philly roll" one was my favorite.
The service was good, we sat outside and the waitress offered us refills on our soft drinks a couple times, and saw when my friend dropped one chopstick and was there 30 seconds later with a new pair.
