So yes, it's a dive bar. And no, there ain't NOTHIN fancy about it. That said, I live two blocks away and this is my perfect place for a quick walk to get a pint. They always have a couple of good beers on tap - I just had a Lagunitas IPA - as well as hard ciders, plus the usual Coors and Bud. Their appetizers aren't from scratch, but they are hot and their fries are pretty damn good. And it's a clean joint now, definitely no rats (like a previous reviewer noted). My daughter and I try to get there when she's home from school, and it was her choice for her first (legal) drink when she turned 21. I bought her a shot of Jack
I went here a while back with a friend that lives near by and I had a good time. Friendly staff and cold beer that you can't beat.
If you like a charming dive bar, this is a great place to spend an afternoon with a good book.
The Daily Double is a quaint neighborhood bar. Fairly clean, nice decor, but one of the fun things to me is the place has a very uneven floor. When you walk out the front door from inside, the floor is very uneven. I always say that is the drunk test. If you can navigate that floor to leave without falling down, then you are sober enough to drive home.
Good place to cheat on your boyfriend out
Cute little neighborhood place. Everyone knows everyone else, or you get to know them. Also, nice to watch games on giant TV. Was able to leave my car overnight & take a Lyft, so I didn't have to drive.
