When I saw the menu for this place, I knew I had to go. Whenever a restaurant has multiple food items that I've never had and rarely (if ever) see on a menu, I HAVE TO GO TO THERE! I started with the Jelly Fish Salad, because, it's Jelly Fish... It was interesting. Not bad, but not really good. The Jelly fish added more of a texture to an otherwise decent asian-style salad. My friend got some beef dish to start that was VERY tasty. I was originally going for the Spicy Pig Intestine (because, again, I wanted to eat things I never had before), but they were out. Instead of I got the Chicken in a Chili Bath. SPICIEST MEAL I'VE EVER HAD! I love spicy food, but this was insane. I had to eat this a little slower than I would've wanted to, had to pace myself. The chicken was delicious though, easily the best chinese food I've had. The spice didn't kick until you had a chance to taste the delicious chicken underneath, which is crucial for food this spicy. My friend had the Twice Cooked Pork, which was much less spicy, but no less delicious. I highly recommend this place, you just gotta be cautious of how spicy some of their dishes are. If you're adverse to spice at all, I'd probably recommend you look through their menu online before making the trip.

My friend and I have been trying all the spicy margaritas in town, and while I love a good spicy dish, I expect my drinks to be drinkable. The margarita was so friggin' hot, I couldn't finish it. Also, it kind of seemed like the flavor was second to the spice in some of our dishes. The eggplant totally rocked though. Five stars for the eggplant, 3 stars for the margarita. The service was just okay, nothing special, would have expected a little more refinement for the price.

Lucky Strike is one of the best Chinese restaurants in town! The decor is pretty cool, it looks like a mix between a trendy bar and an Asian restaurant, and they play Hong Kong movies on the projector sometimes! The service is usually good, but they can be a bit understaffed sometimes. But the best part of this place is the food. The never fail to please with great tasting food and plenty of spice! I particularly enjoy the sliced pork belly with garlic sauce, that is probably the best thing they have on the menu!

This place has the best Chinese food I've had, outside of San Francisco. The service and atmosphere are not quite up to the food, so I can't give it a loved it. The service wasn't awful by any means just not quite as attentive as they could have been. The atmosphere also isn't bad, just a little bit funky. That said, they aren't really trying for high end so as long as you are going for the food you will not be disappointed. We ate family style so I got to try a wide swath of the menu. We started with Spicy Pork Ears, Pot Stickers, and a Seafood Pancake. The pig ears had fabulous flavor, but a weird texture. I was the only one at the table that at much of them. I wasn't fast enough to get one of the pot stickers, but everyone that had one raved about them. The Seafood Pancake is really more Korean than Chinese, but who cares, it was excellent; better than what I've had at most of the Korean restaurants I've been to. For main courses we shared Spicy Noodles with Pork Ribs, Kung Fu Fried Rice, Guinness Pork Ribs, and Drunken Belly. At first it seemed like too much food for six people, but the only thing left at the end of the night was a small amount of the Drunken Belly. Each dish was perfect in its own way. My favorite was the Guinness Pork Ribs, but the Kung Fu Fried Rice (Kung Pao Chicken in fried rice) was a close second. No complaints about any of them. The spiciness level on the hot dishes was just right, added to the flavor, but didn't overwhelm it. I wasn't drinking, but my friends who had cocktails raved about them. Their Mojitos (I know not Chinese) were the table favorites. One friend said that it was the first Mojito she'd ever really liked. They have a decent wine list, but we didn't try any of it. Their beer selection isn't deep, but looked decent. Their prices are very reasonable. Cost for all of the above including cocktails was only $128. I will be back.

Lucky Strike's food exceeded my expectations. Generally, I think Chinese food and think drenched in sauce and grease. Not the case at Lucky Strike. The DanDan noodles had an amazing flavor. The spring rolls were light and crispy and the spicy tofu was great too. I would recommend it, based on the food. The service, however, was lacking. I realize that restaurants tend to be busy Friday nights at 8ish--after being sat, we waited almost ten minutes to be acknowledged by our waitress...or any waitress. Outside of drying up (waiting for a beverage), I would go again.
