Baja Fresh

I rarely eat at chain outlets unless I am stuck for a better choice. I wouldn’t put Baja Fresh in that category even though they are a chain outlet. You get large portions of incredibly fresh ingredients on all your chow. I am digging their carnitas bowl with black beans and mango salsa. I can’t say it without drooling all over myself and sounding like I just got a tooth pulled! There is usually dinner for two with each meal which ends up being late evening slumber munchies. So good you eat until you hurt, then you eat some more.

Gotta say, my 1st experience with this chain and location did NOT go well. Chips were obviously stale, could only eat 2. "FRESH" is literally in the name of the restaurant!Ordered a "diablo" burrito that advertised a Diablo sauce. Absolutely NO hint of ANY sauce in this burrito. No tomatoes listed in the ingredients, yet somehow tomatoes were stuck to the outside packaging of my burrito. So dry, bland, and tasteless. Possibly 1 of the worst burritos I've had. When I called to give feedback (and hopefully give them some chance at redemption) all I got was an "I'm sorry"

This place is great for one reason. The guy who runs it keeps out the rifraf. Which makes him a bit hard nosed. But he runs this place like a well oiled machine. At mall 205 where every time you turn around someone is asking for change. Service here is great. Employees who work here have worked here for more years than I can remember. I been coming here 10 years. Just goes to show that a strong leader gets excellence for results.
