Finally creative top notch food in Sellwood! We can't believe we missed this spot so don't make the same mistake! This food is nothing like the average spot..by far the best food in the hood. The burger is the best we have had. We had a seasonal pizza that was off the charts. We will be back regularly. We hear the Sunday pastries and cheesecake that can't be missed. We believe it. Support this local business and keep original creative food alive in Sellwood and Portland. Lovely owners that live in out neighborhood.

Oh my goodness graciousness!!! I just had salad and pizza from Communion Bakehouse and it was DELICIOUS! Seriously, this is the tastiest food, made by some of the most delightful and inspiring people. Husband and wife chef-owned and operated with a focus on local, seasonal and unique ingredients. My husband and I just moved to sellwood area and we couldn’t wait to find a local spot that was our go to. A couple of weeks ago we came here for brunch and loved their chicken sandwich and their seasonal Mac & cheese! Emily was so sweet! Tonight we couldn’t figure out where we wanted to eat and figured why not try out their pizzas. We are SO beyond happy we did! Literally everything was amazing and Emily remembered exactly who we were and said welcome back as soon as we walked in! She is one of the sweetest servers! The pear & arugula salad was delicious, the sausage pie we shared was beyond what we expected and the cheesecake we decided to share was seriously the cherry on top! We both walked home with smiles because there is nothing like a really tasty local place. We can’t wait to keep coming back here!

My new favorite place for pizza in Portland, and I won't be surprised at all if they get recognized as such during the next round of "Best of". The flavors were fantastic - we loved the house made fennel sausage especially - and the crust was AMAZING! My wife and I thought we were lucky to live by a pizza scholls, but to our taste, these folks take the cake. In addition to the pizza itself, the salads are also very tasty and we love the outdoor seating area. We've been recommending them to all of our friends - great place, chek it out.
