If you want a dimly lit dive bar, with great music, great shows and friendly service - this is the spot for you. The Fixin To is a true gem that is so underappreciated it almost makes me sick - but that's part of the charm. Come see for yourself. Catch a show, order some food and escape the insanity of the 2023 world. Half of the time I come in the Silver Jews or Sebadoh are playing and I instantly forget my worries and know I'm in a magical place - if only for a little while. This is the neighborhood go-to hangout place for my partner and I. They have musicians you can see throughout the week, great drinks, and awesome people.
Went here last night for a hip hop performance. Fun space to enjoy live music. The place is bigger than it looks with heated outdoor seating with both a smoking/vaping section & a non smoking section. The event space has a good sized stage.
The place has a fun rock and roll lifestyle vibe.
Had some nachos and a couple of drinks. The food was tasty, the drinks were solid. The staff is friendly and the bathroom was clean.
I would definitely go here again.
Cool little venue with laid back feel. Pro tip the vending machine has ear plugs because it can get pretty loud!

Maybe the best small venue in Portland. The brisket tacos are delicious, the bartenders are peaches, the patio is fantastic. Never not a good time.
