Yaad Style Jamaican - Portland - Photo album

The most fantastic and authentic Jamaican restaurant I have even been to. This is my new favorite. The jerk chicken, the ox tail, the beef patty 🤯🥵🥵🥵 EVERYTHING WAS SO FREAKING GOOD! Loved the atmosphere and the staff and I will be back SOON!
My first time there this afternoon, my friend Stan took me there. Great food , I was amazed at the huge portions on my order, of course I couldn't eat it all, so yes, didn't have to worry about making dinner! Very friendly Customer service.
Have seen this place on Uber eats. Finally gave it a try. Took 2 bites and apologized to myself for taking so long. Absolutely AMAZING! I got the jerk chicken and island shrimp. Both are a Must try! Great flavor, big portions. Happy to have found you.
To be fair I went there today (Saturday 6th) & there was an outside party to celebrate Jamaican Independence so the back up foe food was out the door--literally! I saw ONE lady Taking inside orders, doing to go orders, and serving seated customers eating inside! It was crazee and wait both 2 orde
We drove down from Lewis County, WA to try out their food for the first time and it was worth every mile of the drive. Their Jerk Chicken, Stew Pork and Beef Patty (the flaky and buttery crust was perfect) were absolutely amazing. I can't recommend them enough!!!
Jerk chicken was delicious and moist, with a perfect little char on the outside… the sides were perfectly cooked and tasted nice and fresh. I haven’t cleaned a plate this fast in a while. Met the new owners, very nice people. They just got their liquor license, so there was no official drink menu ye
Definitely the best option for Jamaican food in Portland. The jerk has a good depth of flavor and their rice and peas are solid Wish they’d give a lil more jerk sauce ;) Curry goat and oxtails are also solid versions of these dishes I often stop by to grab a couple beef patties and a ting of if I
I had the jerk chicken dinner platter. It’s one of those dinner dishes that you eat and you sit down and immediately have the -itis. The food‘s so good you wanna pass out right after work because you’re so stuffed. The chicken is moist, spicy, and smoky. The jerk sauce when added to the chicken and
The trifecta that I thought couldn't exist does exist: - Amazing tasting food. - EVERYTHING on the menu is actually available for purchase. - The time they say your food will be ready is in fact the time the food is ready. Icing on the cake: Excellent customer service. If I could package your busi
Awesome brown stewed chicken. Sides were all delicious and the service was great and friendly. Prices were on point for the food portions and quality. Glad to see legit Jamaican cuisine in Portland. Can't wait to come back and try the national dish, Ackee and salt fish.
It doesn't get more authentic than this place. The rice and beans to start off with hits perfect hence my 5 star. The jerk chicken is to die for. Cooked perfectly with a light crisp skin and taste that goes all the way to the bone. Cook to order so be patient because the wait is worth it. I prefer t
I highly recommend this restaurant. The oxtails are amazing! Love the chicken patties.Every time i’m in town , I will get some food from there. The restaurant is very clean and friendly service!!! Oh yea the Rum punch was on point too…
The service was great, the food was delicious! I ordered the jerk chicken, my husband got the ackee and salt fish, and we ordered jerk wings. We ended up switching plates because we liked each others better lol. All the food was great!
They were out of jerk chicken and we were asked to take our food to go otherwise it would be 5 stars. The curry and fish were very good. Also online menu states that entrees comes with festival and ours didn't
Ah Yaad Style. I keep coming back because of the friendly people and the delicious food. I see a lot of complaints about parking... there’s a public parking lot 30 steps away to the north. There’s a sign that says Liquor Store Parking, but that lot is for the general public FYI. If you’ve ever been
Excellent customer service! They come from yaad, so I’d recommend going if you want to experience some authentic Jamaican food. The food was a little pricy, but I think that’s probably due to the special ingredients they have to find in this area. We will be back!
I ordered the jerk chicken entree which comes with 2 thighs, 2 drumsticks, rice and beans, fried plantains, and cabbage. Huge portion for the price and everything on my plate was delicious! It wasn't too hot just the right amount of kick. I will definitely be coming back here!
