The Doghouse Pdx

A delightful place to get satisfying comfort food to-go. Service was pleasant, efficient, and properly masked for pandemic preparation and plating. I was craving a burger during a long absence from visiting carts, and the Doghouse came through with the Momentary Indiscretion - pleasantly messy with grilled mushrooms and onions, plus asiago cheese. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the Unexpected Perfection burger - bacon, bleu cheese, and grilled onions. He opted for a serving of bbq sauce instead of ketchup, and was very happy with that choice. I chose tater tots as my side, and it made a perfect accompaniment to my first burger in quarantine times....

Imagine a huge amount of thick cut bacon and perfectly caramelized onions smothered in cheddar cheese. Mixed in is a full POUND of tater tots that somehow remain crispy throughout the meal (I'm sure magic is involved somewhere). It's already Perfection, but they don't stop there. Topping it all off is a fried egg. Sweet Heavenly Food Gods!! I can't wait to go back!!

First time at The Dog House PDX about a week ago. They have a nice variety of burgers, all of which look to be very tasty. We each ordered a different item and we both thoroughly enjoyed our selected burger. Topped off with a side of sweet potato fries and we had a great meal. The price makes for a great value. We'll be back.
