This 5/5 review is for Binh Minh's mastery of the plain Banh Mi recipe! If you want to make your own Banh Mi with your chosen fillings or eat them with anything, Binh Minh is your place in PDX! Please do not waste your money and time to get it anywhere else!
When you get Binh Minh's to-go bag, it typically comes with five personal-size plain Banh Mi. You can leave them out for up to a week, or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or freeze them as long as you want; reheat them in the air fryer or any oven reheating of your choice, and they still taste like freshly baked, airy, fluffy, and crispy right out of the oven!
Fast food, deli-style setting mostly for to-go food. Quick service, small family-owned. They have other pre-made Vietnamese foods you can buy to make your own at home or reheat to eat them at home.
Their Banh Mi with filling is okay. Drinks are mediocre. Their Pate/Liver Spread to make your own Banh Mi at home is better than most places in PDX!

Great Vietnamese deli with banh mi, pre-packaged savory items, hot steam buns, and a menu of soups and other hot dishes.
The banh mi is great and easy to eat. Maybe a bit low on the filling-to-bread ratio, but for a $6 sandwich I can’t really complain.
I want to go back and try the Bo Kho

So nice, food is always delicious, possibly the best banh mi in Portland

Such good food and friendly folks. Binh mi packed with fresh sweet and savory flavor plus lots of home made treats, snacks and desert. I'm ordering 2- 3 sammie's next time.

Dang this was a lucky day for me. I didn't know what to do for lunch so as I drove past Bình Minh I remembered how much I like that kind of food. The bread was the bomb on the #6 chicken sandwich. It was so good. I also got a nice iced Vietnamese coffee, a fried banana and some taro rice. Thank you for being there. It was lunchtime too and no obnoxious line to wait in.

Had the banh mi #1, the puff pastry, and milk tea with boba for a very reasonable price. The baguette for bang mi was delicious and crispy with plenty of filling. Would definitely come back as a regular for the banh mi!

Great banh mi sandwich at an affordable price. They used to be super cheap, but the price is $4 now. It's still cheaper than most places on the west side. #1 sandwich is best.

This place is a classic and definitely one of my go spots for a banh mi. Their bread is just amazing and definitely makes the banh mi. You definitely can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. I normally get the #1, which is the traditional banh mi with the works and then #9, the grilled beef one.

Something about Vietnamese sandwiches in Portland makes them so much better than Seattle. Anyways this happens to be my new favorite banh mi place! The beard is pretty good! Soft and the meat and mayo along with veggies make the sandwich. The parking lot on the other hand is very small and can be full which means you have to park on the street.
