Biddy McGraw's wasn't like Irishy enough(?) or something so they changed the name, but this spot was my watering hole back when I lived on 63rd and was a raging alcoholic. The staff are great, the food and music are reliably dope, and they've always got good beers on tap. If you're a beer and music type Portlander this is a good spot. If you are Irish and really all about that, or if you like people who are really into being Irish, the pub's decor will make you feel roight at home, lad. When I was growing up kids would pinch me on St. Patrick's Day for not wearing green, but my family were Irish Protestants and our color was orange, which historically differentiated us from Catholics as believers in a divorce-friendly version of the sky man, with negligible heuristic or metaphysical distinctions otherwise. Try the hazy IPA

It was early happy hour so the place was quiet, which is what I was looking for. 2 Sessions Negra and a split slider app at half price for about 10 bucks and I was good to go. Bartender was friendly and the service was fast. Music wasn't bad either, though it was a tad low - time of day and vibe not withstanding. Overall, great experience. Recommended.

Intimate Irish pub and music venue with a good-sized tap list and better than average food. Formerly called Biddy McGraw's. Picnic tables outside. Usually a small dance floor in front of the stage, and plenty of tables as close or as far from the music as you'd like. No table service but the bartenders have always been great to me and a food runner will bring your order to you. You'll find a variety of acoustic and electric live music here, including a monthly appearance by a local Grateful Dead tribute band.

This place is a good example of an Irish pub. A place for people to gather, feel at home, visit family and friends while enjoying good food and beer (or soda for the kids). Definitely has the neighborhood pub feel to it. Cozy inside, with decor trending too Irish. Outside seating is minimal, and right on a busy street. No billiards or lottery. Strictly a gathering of peers sort of place. Stop by with friends and see what you think.

Good bar, I like to go here to play darts and check out some live music. Fun local dive in the montavilla neighborhood! Good food as well for bar fare. Also they have Cholula and malt vinegar so if you're a condiment freak like me that obviously is worth at least one star.

First off, best bartenders in Portland. No frills, no BS. They run a smooth set-up. I have been coming here for 9 years. They are good about remembering their regulars and treating them well. However, if you come in here acting like a douche canoe, they aren't going to tolerate it. The menu is great, but not every cook is good. No matter what, the fries and Irish fondue are always on point.

Haven't tried the food here but I looked at a menu. Standard pub fare. This is a true neighborhood bar. Pool tables, video games, and video poker are all there. I highly recommend this bar for having a drink with a friend or friends. I took my wife there and she loved it

A damn fine Irish pub; reminds me of the ones I went to when I spent 10 days in magic isle. No tv's can be found in here, just a great selection of whiskey, beer and Irish inspired food, all at great prices. Live music many nights of the week, as well as trivia and darts. *Family friendly--kiddos are welcome unto 9pm!! So the parents can actually enjoy the band. There is a little room in the back, with a pinball machines and old school arcade games, to keep everyone entertained as well *Half-off appetizers during Happy Hour, so the already affordable eats are then dirt cheap! I.e. 2 sliders for $4. *Note that there is no table service; you must go up to the bar to place your food and drink orders.
