Pure Spice Chinese restaurant is one of those hole-in-the-wall places where you can find true authentic Chinese food at its finest. In addition to their large dim sum menu they have a daily lunch specials that allows you to order a single entree with rice, egg roll and soup.

We possibly order too much for only two people every time we go but I regret nothing. Shrimp and leek dim sum, scallop dim sum. Egg buns. Soup dumplings. Sticky fried rice, fried rice noodles. Chili oil wontons. Each time we go we try something new and haven't yet been disappointed in anything!!

I've eaten at Pure Spice Chinese Restaurant twice. This is the best authentic Chinese food I've had in the Portland, Oregon area! They also give a lot of food for your money! When I saw my lunch plate, right away, I knew I would be taking some home to eat for dinner. The problem is, it was so good that I ate the entire plate, which was way bigger than my stomach. It was worth it though, and I did the same thing the second time I ate there too! If you're looking for great authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go!

Pure Spice really lives up to its name, I tried it for the first time (ha gow, sesame chicken, and pork dumplings) each dish had very unique flavors compared to other similar restaurants and we were so pleased. The dim sum dumplings were huge and so delicious.

Most likely the best dim sum in the city of Portland right now. Freshly done and a very complete variety. The zuma is absolutely great. To top it off you can eat every day of the week.

We stopped in for dinner before road-tripping back home because I was craving Chinese food badly.. This restaurant was clean and the food was absolutely amazing!! Huge portions, the waitresses were very nice and priced so well!
We absolutely loved the chicken chowmein, sweet & sour pork combination plate (egg rice is amazing and such a large portion) and Kung pao chicken. 10/10 would absolutely go back!
