Cool cozy atmosphere, nestled away in the canyon behind OHSU. Delicious food and impressive presentation. Definitely exceeded expectations, and I'll be back.
Finally a great place on the hill for drinks and meeting up with friends! I've been here twice, and I can tell it is going to be a regular spot for me. The selection is extensive, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly (Matt, Andy and, Jo are all amazing!) and the food is so wonderful. Whether you want a healthy, satisfying lunch and a kombucha or a brew and some stick-to-your ribs bar fare, this is the place. So happy!
Shannon and the staff are such a friendly presence and the beer selection is VAST. Ask for a taster tray. They're hand made and designed to help you experience the variety of styles and narrow down your choice. The Elderberry Mead and Not Your Fathers root beer brew will rock you. The food selection is also great and from what I've experienced, quality. The head chef teaches at Cordon Bleu and everything is made from scratch, so it's kind of a disgrace to call it bar food.
Give it a visit for any reason at all.
Strange location in what seems like the hospital's parking lot, but a cool vibe and a great selection of beverages. I particularly love that you can get flights of not just beer, but also cider, mead, and kombucha. (Perfect for us designated drivers.) My group had mixed reactions to the food quality, but it was really great to have vegetarian and healthier options alongside the traditional pub fare.
Part of the problem of working on Pill Hill is a lack of after-work bar options close by. The Feathered Nesst has changed all that. They have a staggeringly huge selection of beers, and all the food I've had from there has been delicious. I've tried the tacos, pork sliders and the home style chips.
It is a little up scale, so don't expect everything to be cheap, it is a little stretch on a student budget to go here too often.
Very chill spot to grab a beer and some good bar food. Several big TVs playing sports and an extensive revolving tap list. The happy hour food is great btw. If you're staying at the hospital this is a nice place to have a brief retreat.
Good happy hour. Better HH pricing on drinks than Growler Guys down on the waterfront. Food is typically decent but can be a little inconsistent in quality. Service in my experience has usually been good.
We keep coming here again and again. My 6 yo loves it. Great kids menu. Numerous beer, wine and kombucha on tap. I always order the house made chips and the bacon cheeseburger.
Has a really nice and peaceful setting---"nestled" in the trees of Marquam Hill. I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad which was excellent. I do want to come back and try some of the beers they have on tap someday.
So enjoy the Happy Hour!! Thee Mac n Cheese...yuummmy!! and haven't had a disappointing sandwich yet! Don't drink beer but LOVE their Ciders!! Staff is always friendly! Cheers!!!
