Great little ice cream shop. At least 2 dozen varieties of homemade ice cream, with unique flavors like liquorice, lemon custard and hazelnut. The scoop I had for $2.75 was enormous and delicious. They also serve hamburgers and other fast food style fare. This place has been in the neighborhood for many years. Friendly service. Glad to support them.
This is a great neighborhood simple hamburger and ice cream joint. It is a great place to take kids for a lunch or simple ice cream outing. The ice cream is by far the big draw - so delicious and a nice variety! I believe it's still family owned and operated, the people are super nice.
I can't get enough of this place! Cozy, low key diner with great service. We have been getting the blt and fish sandwich everytime we go. Its hard to branch out because they are so good-crispy and perfectly cooked. The prices are very good, and its hard to pass up ice cream for dessert!
Ok, can't speak (right now) about the ice cream, but I do know about the Burgers and Fries.
1.) Burgers are in the old fashioned "Drive-In" style which is my personal favorite.
2.) Burgers here are better than both Mike's Drive-In & 5-Guy's.
3.) Fries are "shoe-string" and made to order. They stay crisp even if they sit around for 20 mins which amazed me honestly.
4.) Decor is no-frills and thats how I like it. Let the food talk for itself, not the furniture.
5.) Prices obviously are a little higher than Fast-Food, but not by much. Besides with Fast-Food no one cooks it with love and its only about 20% real food, the rest is filler and preservatives.
6.) Friendly staff and care about what they are giving you. Very clean facility too.
7.) Its on 42nd but don't worry about parking, they have a good sized lot.

We are hosting a homework club for our students once a week, here, and Gina is SO sweet and generous. We LOVE Roses Ice Cream!!!!
Old school ice cream shop in the Cully neighborhood. One of the last remaining businesses left from the gentrification of cully in the last three years. Sad to see it go.
Service was really good. Loved the milk shake and the ice cream. Peanut butter pecan milk shake was really good.
Oh man! Their milkshakes! Good little spot to go for a quick non-fast food real ice cream milkshake.
Love, love, love this place! Its my daughters Favorite too! Go there! Don't hesitate.
