It is definitely one of our date spots for sure.
The brunch menu is reasonably priced, and you can season to your liking.
No need to wait for someone to refill your water because there is a handy water station ready.
I love that the nostalgic rock music is diverse in artists and would love to explore the second floor.
The drinks are reasonably priced and the server is awesome.

Decent tables. I never know what the prices are for tables per hour since they're not published on the website. Food menu is ok. Pub fare. Not super healthy but you can get happy hour food anytime but pay a little more if not during happy hour which is reasonable

Love this place! A long standing gathering spot for those who know their way around a pool table, equally welcoming to patrons who are ‘cue’less 😉. Prices are very reasonable, fare reliably straightforward and comforting includes made-in-house ice cream, quick breads, fresh fruit jams, and dressings (the buttermilk blue cheese dressing is to die for). Family owned for generations, Sam would be proud!

Food is solid, especially the homemade baked goods. The drinks are pretty solid but I’d stick to the drafts for your first time.
The service is nice! The rotate regularly and it’s quick service when you go to the bar.
The ambiance is solid. Pool tables are readily available and they have a TouchTunes machine to play your music on.

Wow. Was trying to play pool at a couple places but they were all full up and kinda hot.
Decided to finally try Sam's! Best tables in portland and amazing beer and liquor selection. Super good air and tables and balls and bartenders. Vibes are great - found my new fav pool place!
