The food is phenomenal, but the true highlight is the people. Family run businesses are rare to come by in Portland. They deliver quality service for an affordable price. Only drawback is location. However you’re looking for food downtown I assume you are familiar. Definitely worth checking out!

Our favorite thing about NYC was getting gyros from the food carts. This place has the very same quality of gyros, and the owner is super nice. More affordable than most other nearby food options too. Highly recommended!

The quality of the food is incredible. My first bite brought me to a very happy place in my mind and mouth, however, the workers here show you a level of unity and love so deep in the heart and soul, you taste it in the food. I've never had a more beautiful experience eating out. 11/10

The gyros here are delicious! The meat was very tender and was served on soft fresh bread. To top it off, the owner and employee (Muhammad) were kind and generous. Would strongly recommend this halal restaurant.

The owners are so kind. Every time I show up I'm recognized and greeted like an old friend. It's almost impossible for me to go anywhere else and betray the friendliness and deliciousness El Masry serves up.
