My first visit to Emperor Georgiou's Team Room. The indoor decor is very eclectic - space age modern with huge star trek (Discovery) murals on the walls, a quote from Nichelle Nichols, an Alice in Wonderland painted bathroom - with all food being served on traditional english china while 80's music plays. It's a unique experience.
We opted for a small outdoor table in a quiet, shady spot on the sidewalk. We had selected Georgiou Tea (cream tea service with scone or crumpets).
Instead of a traditional teapot, we were each provided a large french press. All three of us enjoyed our tea selections very much - Lady Grey with Lavender, Cherry Almond, and Black Wolf (from a local tea company). We would all order them again.
The peach scones were delicious, though a little small and served with clotted cream and apricot jam. I would have enjoyed a second one :)
The crumpets were served with lemon curd and butter. I tried one and it was nice, but the scone was more satisfying (personal taste).
Our server was charming and attentive and we smiled at the use of a star trek paperback as the holder for the check. I would return for cream tea service.
The food, tea, and service was all top knotch! We loved the Star Trek setting. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun. It was the perfect way to spend our anniversary ❤️
Super cute Star Trek themed high tea place! Had the Uhura tea service and it was all high quality sweets and treats. Huge plus that most things are allergy/dietary restriction friendly. Great selection of teas, including decaf and herbal teas. Service was incredible, friendly and attentive but not too overbearing. Can't wait to be back!
Luxurious tea shop ever. Cobalt Royal blue decor design inside building. Kinda pricey but middle of Portland and busy streets pretty much understandable prices.
Crews are nice and kind. Recommend Reservation’s better and easier. But Parking is an issue because only one hour parking is max and only 15mins parking lots are many of them. It’s a ridiculous and annoying.
Delightful tea house that has a Star Trek theme. If you have a party of six or more they prefer a reservation which I did not see on the website at bottom.
At first they were a little put off by our arrival at the end. They're located in the wonderful historical district of Kenton right on the corner. Most importantly the restrooms were extremely clean that are ADA assessable.
Lovely place with a refreshing vibe. I felt right at home despite not having experience with tea service. Our waiter was genuine, humorous, and helpful. I absolutely loved the trek theme as a life long trek fan.
My partner and I have been here several times already and love everything about our experience.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The tea service is, pardon my pun, out of this world.
Reservations are recommended, but we've been fortunate enough to have tea service as a walk-in as well.

We had a fantastic time at Emperor Georgiou's Tea Room! The food was absolutely fantastic (we had 1 regular and 1 gluten-free Uhura tea service). The atmosphere was so detailed and peaceful, and the service was wonderful. Would recommend to everyone (Star Trek lovers and future Star Trek fans alike)!
A fun, relaxing, and delicious experience at Emperor Georgiou's Tea Room for the Uhura Tea Service. My personal favorite bites were the Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad, Turmeric Chickpea Sandwiches, and the crumpets with clotted cream and raspberry preserves. The crumpets are made in-house and might be the best I've ever had. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff and owners made the busy tempo look easy. Everything is vegetarian, and vegan, GF, and DF options are available with notice. The list of teas is extensive, and everyone gets their own bottomless pot. Would recommend. Make reservations. 🖖🏻
It was absolutely awesome! The venue was gorgeous, the tea and food were both delicious, the staff was attentive and fun. I would absolutely recommend.
