Great food for when you are looking for something fast to eat. The service is usually friendly. Broccoli beef is my favorite dish they make.

Ok let's start with the fact that I have been coming to this location for over 20 years. It has gone through different ownership. I have to say over the past 10 or so years the food has been great! When the head cook is there the food can't get much better and when he is not the the food is STILL great. I don't dv8 from my order to much but even if I do it's awesome!
The young man behind the counter is so freaking nice u just want to leave a tip for his kindness and welcoming attitude.
The girl that works there some times is also nice but she's a little more of a no nonsense kind of person but still very nice.
If my BP and wallet could handle it I would eat here every damn day!

Great food and service. I called in the order the day before and when I arrived the food was ready. The payment was super easy and everything was prepared like I had asked. The portions were good size. Recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

Was the food good, the S&P squid and the Blackened Chicken were 😋 delicious.
The staff was very pleasant. If we lived here instead of visiting we would no doubt frequent Kung Food, it's that good.

Glad I was introduced to this place. The place is clean and well laid out. It's really kind of a hidden gem. Everything I've ever had here has been very good, if not great. My meal today was honey walnut chicken(highly recommend btw)...that stuff is good. The prices haven't gone through the roof yet,,it's not tacobell cheap but the price is fair. Never seen it very busy at least at lunchtime there so always seems to be room for diners.

Embrace it! An iconic place with excellent food. Once I was in when the chef and kitchen staff had lunch in the dining area. An amazing, not on the menu, spread! Definitely some skill and passion in this down home St. Johns kitchen❤👍🏼

Always a good place for a meal. Inexpensive with nice portions and for Portland not a bad Chinese restaurant. I say this being a guy from San Francisco who grew up eating food and Chinatown and around the city. The food here at Kung food is surprisingly good. Of course it's not like eating Chinese food in the city of San Francisco but it's a close comparison.
