Food is AWESOME!!!! The staff is great too. We have been going for years and have never had anything but the best!!!
Consistently my favorite place for 20 years. The staff are local, honest business people who greet you with a smile on their faces every time. The home made salsa is to die for.
Such a gem of a place and privately owned. Same people always working hard with a smile. Very fresh food. They accommodate my vegan requests no problem, I love their salsa, which you can also buy and take home, but they are always generous with giving you little salsa cups with your meal. And they have fun specials on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Wednesday is a gyro special). If you haven't yet, consider giving them a try!
So i was greeted by the friendliest lady and walked thru my order which consisted of PERSIAN food and some tacos.
Ended up with a kotlet sandwich and beef corn soft tacos.. AMAZING THE BREAD was great and the flavors were strong. I missed alot.of the Persian community in California and the food.
I plan to take my wife here tomorrow night.

If 10 stars were available I would give this place 10. This is a destination taco place. I drove clear across town to eat here because the food is homemade and legendary. I had the three taco plate. The salsa is super fresh and perfectly spiced. The owner has run this restaurant for 32 years and his great personality hasn’t changed from when I used to come here after work. You have to buy the baklava for dessert. It is decadent and the best I’ve had. If you miss the days when the owner worked at a restaurant and knew who you were and cared about quality, this might be one of the last places left where that is still the case. Love the food and the positive experience.
This is basically two restaurants: a Mexican and a Persian. It's nice to have that variety! They have insanely low priced daily specials EVERY DAY! And the normal prices are pretty darn good, too. The food takes a bit of time, but is tasty and homemade. And the owners/workers are so friendly.
Been coming here for little over a decade. Always had great service here. Yes you do order at a counter but everything is made fresh to order right behind the counter and they bring your order to your table if you dine in. Anywhere from 5-10 mins depending on the size of the order so not too long of a wait.
The salsa is so good too. Tons of flavor and just the right amount of spice to it to where it’s not overwhelming. I usually get the cheese enchiladas combo with a Mexican coke but they do offer other drinks as well as ice water. Enchiladas have a choice between mild (red) and spicy (green) sauce and of course your filling. It does come with olives but I always ask for them to be left off.
Decent amount of setting plus some tables outside for nice days.
Definitely worth a try.
the customer service is very friendly, I come to this place 5 minutes before closing, I asked if we could still order and they gladly took our order, some other places are rushing to close even though they have 45 min to go or clean.. I really liked that it is a combined cuisine of Persian and Mexican food with a very delicious flavor, the place has a beautiful decoration, definitely I'll come back 👍

Consumed. Is there better Mexican food in the great food city of Portland? Yes, I'd be lying if I said no... but I go here constantly because the people that run the place are human beings and not robots. Really fun people at that!
Owners are phenomenal! Food is equal to the service! When you visit you'll want to come back again and again. Try the baklava, fresh salsa, guacamole.
Delicious food, amazing customer service, fair prices. No wonder they're in business 31 years. Offers some tex mex options as well as persian cuisine and both are made fresh
Love this place! I've been coming here since 97' . I can eat the salsa by the spoonful it's so good. Great burritos! ( I have not tried the Mediterranean food)
