Avid Cider Company

I am only reviewing the ciders here. We did not get a chance to try their food. The service was alright. The place is spacious. The live music was awesome! We tried the cider flight consisting of the Watermelon Rhubarb which was seasonal, the Dragonfruit Cider, the Pom-Cherry Cider, the Blackberry Cider, the Apricot Cider, and the Organic Dry Apple. These were all extremely sweet. Think of a Jolly Rancher candy, liquidated. I tried the watermelon one and it was just too sugary for me to finish even half of it. I took a couple of sips and stopped. The rest were a tad less sweet but too sugary nonetheless.

We were there for the grand opening and they could use more outdoor seating because it was busy. Staff was still friendly and attentive despite the crowd. Large tap selection to include beer and a small bar. No parking. Expect downtown parking and fees. Drink prices were ideal at $4 a pint! Try the habañero dragonfruit!

Came in search of cider and we were not disappointed! There were a lot of people when we showed up (turns out a bachelor and bachelorette party were present) which made the initial service a little slow. I really felt bad for the one guy running to all the tables and handling both of the parties. Once those two groups went on their way things seemed great. The cider is amazing and we will 100% be coming through next time we are in Portland!

They have an awesome selection of house brewed ciders and guess brewed beers! I didn't try any of the food but the pizza looked delicious and the pnw nachos (hand sliced potato chips with nw veggie fixings) seem like a good option to split! They also had live entertainment while we were there. Worth checking out for sure!

Solid grouping of ciders with some unique ones that work really well. Dragons Breath has a heavy heat but so good and the apricot has a great aroma. I feel like I see Avid around a lot but they still have affordable prices and act like they're still a small time brew. Super friendly staff and really nice space.

Very chill environment to get some good gluten free cider! Parking was easy, we walked in, sat down and within a minute the bar tender came to our table. We basically picked what we watched on the TV and hung out for a while. I got a Black cherry Cider, double gold award winning and it was very good! Definitely good prices and would come back! #speakeasy
