I'm glad I checked this cart out! They have stuff that toy normally don't see everyday at the food carts. I was really intrigued with their chicken paella so I ordered it and I am glad that I did. Everything about the paella was excellent! The chicken was also super moist and flavorful. Its definitely a dish worth trying out. The prices are also reasonable.

Wonderful variety of options s including vegetarian and vegan. Chicken Paella had a little kick but so good. And the portions were right on point. Couldn't have been a better lunch!
As a bit of a foodie, from Cape Town to Tel Aviv to Istanbul. I love ME food. Usually this has meant a trip downtown to Habibi, or Shalom Ya'll. So glad I found this wonderful food cart in Sellwood.
Karim is an excellent chef. My wife loves his lentil soup as comfort food when it's rainy, my go to is the savory stuffed Kafta Kebab pita (gyro style).
I was looking for good paella, and this cart had good reviews of paella, so I went out of my way to try it out. La Camel did not disappoint. It's a Moroccan take on paella which was a little different from the Spanish style I was used to, but equally delicious and interesting to try. We ordered one each of the seafood and chicken paellas. Normally I'd prefer the seafood, but I think their chicken paella might have been the better of the two. Great stuff. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu.
Our favourite Moroccan food cart near our house has been closed, and I happened across this one further away and was blown away! The lamb is amazing, I brought my partner back here a few days later to surprise them and we took our food to go for a picnic. He even gave us a free baklava for coming back. Friendly service and amazing eats. This is our new go-to for COVID date nights!
Just discovered, and Ate here two nights in a row. Food is amazing! Lamb shank and seafood paella are on par with $50 dinners at high end restaurants in San Francisco. Love this place, and the owner is very nice!
Amazing flavors. Food carts are a dice roll, but this one is exceptional. He cooks a lot to order, so it's not super fast, but 5-10 minutes to get the best Mediterranean food I've ever had? Yes please. Huge portion for 8.25, I'm thrilled with this lunch.
Was blown away by the flavors in the falafel. Hands down best I have had in town. Texture and flavor were spot on. Turkish coffee was excellent as well. Friendly service.
Went on Saturday evening. Got the Moroccan Chicken Tajine . Was delicious, seasoned great and the olives/veges were an awesome mix. Chicken portion was huge. Food was fast wait time right around 5mins. Great bang for you buck here. Ill be back
