This is my favorite cafe! I've been going for years and thought I should write a review to support this great small business. The food quality is outstanding! Best soups in town, hands down. Overall the food menu is diverse and interesting but what stands out is the homemade quality. So much love goes into this food and it shows. Also, parking is always easy on this part of Hawthorne, that's a bonus. Highly recommended!

Their granola was good. I feel like I should say more than that. So many things are "good". People, days, poops, and definitely Oui Presse's granola. I'm pretty sure the poop I had after this granola was good too. Everything just pushed through so easily! I'd appreciate if more food reviewers talked about how their food affected their bowels. I'd think twice about a place's famous mac n cheese if it's going to be an ordeal on the toilet later. Anyway, I'd definitely go back to this place for the granola.

Stepped in for a spell to get a hot tea on a beautifully rainy day. Was met with some of the customer service I've ever had. The gentleman with the great beard was so friendly to my sister and I. We talked for about 15 minutes about comic books and podcasts. Everyone who came in felt like family coming home. My loose leaf tea was perfect.

Cute spot, love the plants outside and style inside. Had the poached eggs on toast - perfectly cooked eggs and the in-house bread was SO good! The coffee was good as well ☕️ 10/10 rec and will go back

The best coffee shop food ever! A wonderful breakfast sandwich made fresh for you, pressed and ready to eat in the great atmosphere of the shop or to take out, a classic Caesar salad, also fresh, plus almond cake, sandwiches, and seasonal items. Magazines and books for sale and a great location next to the best hardware store in town, Hankin's, with its own large fruit and vegetable garden out front.

Wonderful neighborhood spot! I have stopped in several times with delightful results. The food here is amazing; they always have fresh soup, good bread and an amazing hazelnut coffeecake! I also enjoyed their hot chocolate (made with real chocolate) and the poached eggs on toast.
They are open til 4pm now so come get a taste!
