I recently visited Hello India in Portland's Hawthorne Street and was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and the decor was charming, with traditional Indian accents adding to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The menu had a great selection of dishes, ranging from classic curries to more innovative creations. I opted for the Malabar Chicken curry and the Lamb Bhuna - the spices were perfectly balanced and the chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection. The portion size was also generous, leaving me feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed. In addition to the fantastic food, the service was top-notch. Overall, I would highly recommend Hello India to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian cuisine in Portland. Whether you're a seasoned Indian food connoisseur or new to the cuisine, you won't be disappointed by the offerings at Hello India.

This family owned indian restaurant offers Very nice service and friendly staff. Food was good - especially the saag paneer and aloo gobi.

Usually order takeout. Always fresh and tasty. They even write a handwritten note to thank me. Sometimes add free Rice pudding dessert. It’s all about the simple details that get most appreciated. And have me repeatedly eat here.
