Grand Central Bakery - Portland - Photo album

I always love coming to Grand Central Bakery! The lunch items are absolutely top notch. I wish the sandwiches weren't slathered in mayonnaise, but other than that I have absolutely zero complaints about the food. The bread is super fresh and the molasses cookies are to die for. My husband says the p
Outstanding bakery! The Happy Goat sandwich is my favorite. The combination of goat cheese and chimichurri is so delicious!! I love how the veggies added to the sandwich are seasonal. This time it was carrots, but my favorite is the summer one where they add green asparagus. The sandwiches are a lit
Yum!!!!!!!! I really enjoyed grand central bakery! They had one of the best chai lattes i’ve ever had! They have an assortment of delicious pastries. Tried the cheese danish and biscuit egg breakfast sandwich. All were very tasty! They also have a nice amount of seating. Nice spot in Beaverton.
An awesome breakfast place and wonderful staff too! Make sure you keep a buffer on your tummies when you visit here on weekends. Popular also equals some minor queues. But rest assured, it moves quickly too! Checkout the seasonal sandwiches here!
Fresh ingredients - friendly staff At local bakeries, I always ask "What's freshest?" (Or right out of the oven.. ) Today it was their traditional cinnamon rolls. Some places rely on icing or glaze to flavor their cinnamon roll- not here. The bread itself is perfectly baked today - a nice "crisp" o
Pecan pull apart was very tasty! The drinks were also good-we ordered a chai oatmilk latte and vanilla oatmilk latte. Nice environment with good outdoor seating and friendly bakery staff.
Really awesome pumpkin spice latte and chocolate mocha. The barista was super good. He really made our day in mid September.
Went back for the garden grinder. It tasted like spring - mashed peas and asparagus. The bread makes it delicious! This time I also tried the oatmilk chai. It is in the sweet side but fragrant and fill of flavor. Got a beautiful sandwich with a pickle wrapped separately inside the sandwich paper, a
How do they make their cheese danish SO GOOD?! There's something in the cream cheese filling that makes it unlike any other I've ever had before. I literally dream about this cheese danish. And by literally I mean figuratively. But seriously, it's really good and I think about it a lot. You should t
The day I was leaving Portland, I decided I wanted to get some bread and bakery treats to take back home. I looked online and saw the Grand Central Bakery was not too far away from my hotel and I decided to give them a try. I'm very happy I did! I bought a loaf of sour rye, which is excellent and ha
I'm literally addicted to the smell of fresh pastry. BTW they have the best crosaintss in the town!
Stopped by on a whim and was mind blown . This place is cozy and has amazing coffee and bakery goods and great prices! A hidden gem!
Love their sandwiches. Every single one I’ve ordered here has been delicious. My favorite by far is currently the Blue Ribbon roast beef sandwich. They toast the roll and apply blue cheese mayo that really adds nice aromatic and creamy flavor to the sandwich.
⭐ x Ten! First time visiting Grand Central Bakery. Not sure why I haven't stopped by sooner. I ordered a variety of baked goods as well as a bacon cheese Quiche that blew my mind. A sweet potato tart WOW!. Everything is amazing. The staff store was clean organized and staffed with pleasant very help
Worth queuing in the morning for their baked goodies, can't wait to go back! Love the seasonal items like the Irish soda bread in March and rhubarb tart in April. Indoor dining and outdoor dining available!
Had the seasonal sandwich with butternut squash and holiday seasonings, melted cheese and it was not amazing like they make it out to be. Much prefer the ham and cheese croissant and almond croissant.
The best pastries and breads in town. Coffee is good, too. It is a very comfortable cafe to meet a friend. One thing... take an extra caution when you go in and out to the store. They put outdoor tables and chairs right in front of the store in the parking area. There is a small gap between the sid
