Had the seasonal sandwich with butternut squash and holiday seasonings, melted cheese and it was not amazing like they make it out to be. Much prefer the ham and cheese croissant and almond croissant.

I always love coming to Grand Central Bakery! The lunch items are absolutely top notch. I wish the sandwiches weren't slathered in mayonnaise, but other than that I have absolutely zero complaints about the food. The bread is super fresh and the molasses cookies are to die for. My husband says the plain black drip coffee is hearty but balanced. I also love how clean the restrooms are here! This feels like a clean, comfy space for me and I'm always excited to visit.

Really awesome pumpkin spice latte and chocolate mocha. The barista was super good. He really made our day in mid September.

The best pastries and breads in town. Coffee is good, too. It is a very comfortable cafe to meet a friend. One thing... take an extra caution when you go in and out to the store. They put outdoor tables and chairs right in front of the store in the parking area. There is a small gap between the sidewalk and the concrete parking block (not used for parking) for the wheel stop, and you can easily miss it and trip over. It is quite dangerous, especially for older people. They painted red over the concrete wheel stopper for pre-caution, but because of the big flower pot right next to it, it can be overlooked. A couple of weeks ago, a lady tripped over and fell when she walked out from the store to her car and got hurt. :(

Went back for the garden grinder. It tasted like spring - mashed peas and asparagus. The bread makes it delicious! This time I also tried the oatmilk chai. It is in the sweet side but fragrant and fill of flavor. Got a beautiful sandwich with a pickle wrapped separately inside the sandwich paper, a coffee, and a loaf of sour rye bread. Everything was delicious and the setting and service was pleasant if busy. I will be back. I am writing because the vegan specialty sandwich was a great find and full of yummy stuff. However, one ingredient was especially bitter. I know the benefits of bitter greens and usually enjoy them. This one was pretty bitter. It appeared to be the stems from the raab? Just letting you know! Like I said, I will be back to try the next specialty vegan sandwich soon! Thanks.

Pecan pull apart was very tasty! The drinks were also good-we ordered a chai oatmilk latte and vanilla oatmilk latte. Nice environment with good outdoor seating and friendly bakery staff.

Worth queuing in the morning for their baked goodies, can't wait to go back! Love the seasonal items like the Irish soda bread in March and rhubarb tart in April. Indoor dining and outdoor dining available!

Fresh ingredients - friendly staff At local bakeries, I always ask "What's freshest?" (Or right out of the oven.. ) Today it was their traditional cinnamon rolls. Some places rely on icing or glaze to flavor their cinnamon roll- not here. The bread itself is perfectly baked today - a nice "crisp" on the outer crust & chewy rolled bread inside. The cinnamon flavor comes through nicely on each layer, accented with just a few raisins. The rolls are baked on a glaze & served with just the right amount of sticky sweetness on the bottom. My decaf cappuccino has a nice head of foam & was worth the wait for careful, artistic preparation. 😀
