On my Birthday yesterday, during The Urban Race, one of our many stops was at this great coffee shop that I have never been to before. One of us had to identify the location of 3 different coffees by smelling them. They were African, Indonesia and Central America. After identifying them and talking with the judge at the location, the owner asked to take our picture for their FB page. Then hearing that it was my birthday, he gave me a bag of my choice. I picked the Central American one. It has a mile aroma but a very smooth taste. I recommend you getting freshly roasted beans from this roaster. Was not bitter with a rich flavor. You should visit them when you can. Yum. Thanks World Coffee & Tea for the great coffee. We will be in often to visit.

Great location and atmosphere! Friendly staff. I like it because it's not the usual "Burnt Toast Roast" that you get had the big chain coffee houses.

Great coffee. I'm lucky it's so close. I get fresh beans ground on site. My French Press is awesome with these beans! I also enjoy just sitting in the shop and taking in the views of NW Portland / Alphabet district.

I'm posting based off an experience I just witnessed when going grocery shopping with my sons. While entering the stores, an employee from this company stopped and had kindly asked a homeless man and his dog if he needed anything from the store that he could get him. This melted my heart. I thought I would give some kudos to this guy whoever you are and this company if this is the mission you tell your employees.

Only have been here once, but it seems nice enough. The espresso is good and strong. Music playing in the background is decent. Nice big space. I could really spread out and relax at 8 am on a Sunday. The place feels like it could host a really good open mic. (Don't know if it does) if I found myself in the neighborhood, I'd come back!

This is some of the best coffee in town, and it is a good place for staying a while. Places like that are becoming rare in Portland. A good place to have a conversation without feeling like the whole cafe can hear you. Window seating, tables, and a couple of comfy chairs.

This place is great. Has good coffee at more than reasonable prices. Well knowledged staff, and a comforting atmosphere. Understandably limited outdoor seating due to Portland winter weather. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

great place! ordered a chai latte that was not too milky or too sweet. plenty of seating here, with a bar table facing the street if you’re here to get some work done alone. wifi is available as well. plenty of couches to sit back and relax with some friends. highly recommended!

Good neighborhood shop! My only issue is when I ask for extra flavor in my latte, I never taste it. Or sometimes they forget my drink, it's like they are distracted at all times by something up at the counter. The good news is, popular, low key, coffee shop. The grilled cheese is amazing, along with the breakfast sandwiches. And good real iced tea.

Friendly, comfortable and relaxing. Stopped in here briefly to get some tea ND coffee with a friend and ended up sitting down for a bit. We didn't realize that it closed at 7pm but there was no pressure to leave. I'll definitely stop in here again when I'm in the area. Prices were in line with coffee shops in general.

Hey I really like it here but I think you could up the ante by adding a couch, more arm chairs and coffee tables. I'm a designer and I think you have so much potential in the space. The library theme is good and there aren't many places in Portland doing it well. More books, comfy chairs and voila, ambiance. I'll be back regardless :-)

World Cup Coffee & Tea is the best coffee shop in Portland! Since they are a roaster themselves and passionate about the products they make - you can taste the difference in every cup. To add to the many reasons they are the number 1 coffee shop in town is their people. All staff are helpful and kind - you feel like family when you walk through the door. Thanks WCCT!
