Virginia Cafe - Portland - Photo album

Found this place by chance! Was searching for a casual place to grab drinks and something to eat between 6 & 7 pm downtown as I made my way up to the tattoo studio on W 11th when a woman sitting on the picnic table out front asked if I had a light. So thankful for her stopping me and telling me abou
This place has been around for a while now. We stopped by for just a quick drink or two to help with our thirst. We were pretty much the only ones here and sat at the bar. The place is smaller and has video lottery. The bartender was nice and quick with our drinks. Overall, it was a good experience
The server was very nice and the food came out quick. I got a BLT with beer battered onion rings, and I absolutely loved it.
2 out of 3 excellent bartenders. Stephen is awesome. The food is heavy portioned and delicious. All kinds of people frequent the place. Definitely a place to check out if you haven't been there!
Nice dark atmosphere with a good beer selection and reasonable prices. The food is also awesome as well.
Super cute hole in the wall, we are so glad we stumbled upon it. Great happy hour deals, food was delicious.
Great little hidden gem in the walls. You'd walk right by if you didn't know it's there but cozy spot for a bite and good brews
Cool historic restaurant and bar, and a great spot for a quick lunch. The reuben was excellent -- in fact, the best I've had in the Northwest. Prices were also quite reasonable. I would definitely come back here -- highly recommended.
Fun bar with great drinks and delicious bar food. I had a burger and tots.
I only had the vegetarian burger once. It was good and flavorable. The women bartenders make the best drink. I meet up with a few of my friends weekly. We just talk smack, laugh, chill and enjoy our drinks. Atmosphere is great and real chill.
A Portland staple! After all these years, still a great burger and tots. Dark, dark, DARK inside even before a window was boarded over, moody, haunted. Definitely go eat here.
The staff is welcoming. The drinks pour. The food is top tier. This is Portland as Portland intended
I loved this place. From the dark feel with the wood paneling -to the hand written notes of customers who have been enjoying Cheryl's home made food since they were kids. We had a cheeseburger. It was hand pressed, juicy, and had the perfect amount of special sauce. I wish I had tried the fries beca
I know I put 4 stars, don't want to give the owners an ego for a great time
I've been here a few times and everyone is really nice. The bartender Keith is a complete gentleman and is very nice as well.
Was great going back in time. Food was good but menu not what it use to be. They still do a great Spanish Coffee and the service was great. Would definitely recommend going here especially if you have memories of the use to be cause it clearly has potential to take you back.
Really enjoyed the food, the redhead chick was nice and friendly atmosphere
Stiff drinks and great food. What else would you want in a bar/grill.
Great neighborhood bar! Burger was excellent, bar tender was very good.
