ThaiPK is by far the best Thai restaurant in all of Portland and likely in the Pacific Northwest. It is always exceptionally delicious, served with great pride, kindness, appreciation, and they are very willing to customize the order to meet different in a variety of dietary restrictions. I have eaten at a great number of Thai restaurants in Portland, but Thai PK is by far the most delicious and the best value in town. They have so many standup dishes ranging from crispy basil chicken (not to be missed), salmon curry!, and delicious version of pad kee mao, exceptional, like curries? Try the red - if you'd like a little spice. Their papaya salad is wonderful- plus incredible, coconut shrimp and seasonable delicacies, such as pumpkin curries, and wonderful stirfry's, noodle dishes, and incredible soups and healthy choices in addition. This is seriously the best Thai food that you can find in this area. And even better that the people that own this restaurant, and every individual that works here is someone with incredible heart that you will feel so pleased to give your money to. This is a local business worthy of your support! If I could give it seven stars I would. Amazing food!
Typical looking Thai restaurant, clean and well ordered. The staff all seemed happy and were very friendly, service at all the tables was spot on and quick. I ordered Shrimp Tom Yum and the chef specialties Crispy Chicken Basil & Roasted Duck Curry. The duck was perfect, flavorful, and savory which paired perfectly with the spicy sweet crunch from the chicken and we couldn't get enough of it. As always the proof was in the Tom Yum, deep flavor and a thickness to the broth that proves time and detail in the cooking. From what I have tried so far, I will be coming back. Fantastic.
Btw: The Google menu is out of date by a few years, they don't do sushi anymore.
I am typically not a fan of Thai food, though I am learning that really I am probably just not a fan of Pad Thai. I loved this place! They had tons of options on the menu - appetizers, entrees, noodles, stir fries, curries, etc. I chose the chef special ginger salmon dish which has a delicious ginger sauce and fresh veggies, and the salmon was cooked wonderfully! We also got the salad rolls as an app which were great. Also don’t be fooled by the old photos on google, there is no sushi here!! Very kind service and they had both indoor and outdoor seating available (we chose outside). I’ll be back!
Staff was lovely! Food was good, pretty reasonable prices. My Thai tea was super yummy and served beautifully! The pad se ew was SO good. Massaman curry not the best I’ve had, but still yummy
Feels lucky to live so close to such great quality Thai food. Order from here regularly—takeout or dine-in are both great. Have too many favorites to name but love their crispy chicken basil. Very kind and attentive service as well.

This is one of our favorite Portland restaurants. We order takeout at least once a month. My two recommendations: Green Curry Fried Rice with shrimp and the Spicy Catfish - I mean you can order other dishes but you HAVE to get these. Parking is easy. Good portions.
I'm a little bummed that I didn't discover this place earlier. Food is very tasty and not overly salty or greasy. I was impressed how their chicken breast was very tender and juicy and not dried out at all. Their portions are generous and anybody on a low-carb diet will appreciate the pile of steamed veggies included with most entrees. They serve their rice in an adorable star shape. The food comes out super quick and the service is friendly and attentive. Their prices are very reasonable. We ordered two drinks, chicken satay, beef salad, and two entrees and the total was less than $40. There's literally nothing wrong with this place. Please give them a try!
Arrived for a very late ok lunch at 2pm and they asked us if we could be done by 2:30pm. It all works out and my brother and I had a very excellent lunch. I had chicken curry noodles and my brother had the lad na
09/15/16: 4.5 out of 5 - First time trying out this place. Came here as a recommendation from one of my trainers as she loves Thai PK's Pad See Ewe with Beef.
I went with what I use as a benchmark, the Pad Thai with Shrimp. I was also pleased to see that this place had the fish cake (Tod Mun Pla) and the Pad Woon Sen with Shrimps as a special.
The food was very tasty and the Thai Ice Tea was good to go! The place was clean and decent bathrooms. So, I would definitely come back to eat here, and would highly recommend trying this place once and decide for yourself.
Wait staff was friendly and accomodating. It is nicely decorated on the interior. Its conveniently located off of South West macadam Avenue. The food was great. For what you got its at an excellent price. If in the area, its well worth the stop.
