Customer service here is usually really good! The quality of the food can be hit or miss. At times it has been served lukewarm or cold, and other times I noticed the ingredients were not very fresh.

Visiting Portland and stopped at Enat kitchen. Food is delicious. I had kitfo with steamed Collard Green, lettuce and home made cheese. Imported Ethiopian beer Walia was top notch. Place is clean. The soft music in the background was my desert. The owner is just kind and checks on customers how all is going. I highly recommend 🏜 😍

So good, one of the nicest ambience and friendliest service amongst the selection of Ethiopian spots in town. I love that the veggie platter has the option to select 5 or 7 items as well as the ability to choose your own. Excited to go here again!

Been here a couple of times. Always get the sampler platters and have always enjoyed them. Food maybe could have been a little bit hotter, but it's still really delicious. Definitely give this place a shot if you've thought about it.

Came by here on a whim because we were hungry and on our way to get fireworks, stuck in traffic, and looked over and saw a parking spot right in front. I used to work down the street and didn't know this place existed until around the fourth of July. My partner and I were greeted by the friendliest of friendlies and had some guidance ordering. My partner had a vegetarian dish and I had a non-veg. Its October now, and I forgot what we had, but I remember it was enough for leftovies. The food was absolutely delightful. I really wish I knew about this place when I lived closer and worked in the area. I have suggested this joint to several of my friends that live in the area, and they all found the cuisine extremely satisfying. Overall, the food was so delicious that it wasn't a big deal we didn't find any mini incendiaries: The true fireworks were right here at Enat Kitchen.

Sambusa ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - I liked the lentils inside - was surprisingly filling - I could see myself craving this - at first I was surprised there was no sauce Tibs with lamb ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - a little burnt for me but it actually tasted like burnt ends Derek tibs ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - very fresh - liked the vegetables that came with it Kitfo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - got it rare - it's like spicy beef tartare - came with collard greens sort of with a creamy cheese - buttery

6/8/23 food is fresh and delicious! Could be more seasonings - seems like it's milder in flavor than I remember. Happy to see original owner is still there. Older reviews... I think ownership has changed though the food is still delicious. Please switch to paper to-go containers and please answer your phone during open hours. I ordered a specific veg combo but wasn't given what I ordered. It was busy with only one waitress. Please play music for ambiance. Older review: Delicious food, gluten free injera - all the time. Vegan options. Lighting, music, seating comfort and overall ambiance could be improved. For me best tasting Ethiopian since Dalo's Kitchen.
