Love the service and food! Gotten takeout from here twice and love the lamb buna.
Great food. Friendly staff. Convenient location easy to spot on street. It was warm, only 1 air conditioner in restaurant. I had phone coupon from entertainment book, staff had not redeemed a phone coupon before: they were accommodating. I would print out the next one, although. We had the lamb korma, lamb masala & garlic naan.
The women in front was working her tail off ! I commend your efforts with that many customers (5) waiting at closing because just like me we ordered 30 mins before closing (sorry! ) AND someone else was calling as I was paying. The food was GREAT. I love it. Thank you guys so much again !
Best Alu Gobi in town. Order online and it will always be hot! Super friendly accomodating service. I like my food spicy but if you don’t than met can change it for you!

I've been trying various Indian restaurants in Portland to find my favorite and India Grill wins!!! I'm a vegetarian so I really enjoy their lunch buffet with various options for veggie friendly. They have the best spicy green chutney I've found in town, if you like it hot that is! Their green salad is actually green, no iceburg here anymore! And love their vegetarian main dishes, so much flavor. I keep coming back regularly and their quality is very conistent, love it!
I ordered a spice level of 15/10 and it was awesome! Apparently it’s the hottest they’ve ever made and it was sooooo good! Very nice owners and great service.
Definitely one of the best Indian spots in Portland, and I've heard many Indian people echo this statement. Chicken Tikka masala is possibly the best I've had. Navvatran curry is also a favorite. I miss their lunch buffet and dine in service but since COVID it is to go only. Hope this changes....
SO GOOD! Ordered vegetable samosas, papadam, naan and raita, chicken vindaloo and chicken korma and everything was great! The sauces were delicious too. Will definitely be coming back!

I was in Portland for a Conference. Google maps suggested this place. Went for lunch with a colleague. But found that only take away is offered. We ordered our tak away. We were bit tired after a walk. The owner was generous to offer us to use the open area to dine as an exception.
1947 Beer - tastes normal. Not anything super. I took Palak dish. It was very tasty, smooth. I gave a rating of 4 for food - because the quantity of rice was less. We finished rice, but some portion of curry was left.
For take away - enjoy good taste.
