Looked up Portland Best breakfast and my expectations were blown out of this world! The staff are AMAZING & so attentive they all get a round of applause! They had a phenomenal bacon & egg skillet with such diverse flavors and it came with an incredible side salad and biscuit I added the vegetarian gravy and had to say it was the best gravy I’ve had! The drip coffee was buttery and had robust flavor and they had oat milk dairy substitute!! ❤️ I will never go anywhere else in Portland for breakfast 🫶🏼 🏳️🌈
Little Griddle does not leave you wanting bigger portions! Straightforward establishment, with cozy vibe. Very friendly staff and wonderful and tasty menus. Vegan biscuits and gravy was awesome!
Service was great. Everything tasted fresh, like it was home-made. The place is pretty small and fills up quickly so you might have to wait a bit esp if you go during peak breakfast time.
I was craving eggs and this place popped up. Cutest place. Super friendly service. My skillet was delicious! They served it with a fresh side salad. Will be back.
Super friendly service and seriously knock-it-out-of-the-park fantastic food. Heavy food, but no regrets. Well, maybe my only regret was opting for the White Russian as a hot drink instead of cold. Regret that choice, but that's on me!
Love this place!!! Interesting back story, here’s what I think I know (happy to be wrong, just don’t remember every detail)
But, I think the original guy that opened it, was also partners with one of the chefs (maybe 2) that are still there. His dog is the logo, but I think he sold his share a couple of years ago.
I will say that when it first opened, the biscuits were phenomenal!!! We went all the time. After he left, the biscuits went downhill. The last couple of times we’ve gone, they seem to be much better again!
There is always a line up or wait, so get there early as I don’t think they take reservations. It’s also small, so I would call ahead if you have a large party (more than 4).
I love the salad that comes as a side with most of the savory dishes.
My husband had a pancake last time we were there and it was soooooo yummy!!! Super fluffy and light 😋
Oh my! So nice, so quick, just wonderful breakfast on a busy Monday!
Love the art work, and plants being for sale. It’s a living decor that’s always changing! The space is alive in many ways! The staff is super nice and everything is fast/timely!
Deff will come back!
Worth the weekend wait. The food was delicious and what a charming little place.
They send the most delicious food out of a tiny kitchen. The team was super friendly and seemed to really enjoy working together. Great vibe.
We ordered the Truck Stop, bacon egg & cheese sandwich, and French toast. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The biscuits are incredible and they made the perfect crispy English muffin. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a delightful brunch.
We joined the waitlist through the Yelp app and waited for 90+ minutes because we were a party of 4 and they seemed to only have 3 tables to accommodate more that 2 people. But it was absolutely worth the wait. The neighborhood is very cute for a stroll while you’re waiting l.
My biscuit sandwich was really tasty! My egg was fried hard and I really enjoyed the unique flavors with the pepper jam. I shared some of the pancake which was also good! The coffee was good and refilled often! The server was friendly and efficient! The place is small so we had to wait about 30 minutes, but I enjoyed wandering around in the neighborhood stores.
We stopped here while waiting on a friend’s flight. It was a fantastic experience! The food was great- we ordered the bacon cheddar hash and the florentine benny. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend swapping the toast out for a biscuit!
