Great drinks, wonderful staff, and there's a power outlet right next to the first table near the entrance. If you're traveling through Portland, I can't recommend it highly enough. Their fries are also on point.
Edit: I almost forgot to mention their dessert. Their s'mores cake is fantastic. Not too sweet, not too heavy. Do yourself a favor and grab it on the way out.
My friend and I were looking for late night eats and found this bar close to our hotel. Ordered the Summers Ago drink and most of their late night snacks. The mac n cheese was the best dish, but all of them were good to snack on and filling.
Cocktails are unique and the bartender absolutely will help you find something you like off-menu. The jazz music was well-suited to both the theme of the restaurant, and to the size of the room.
We had a great time. It has a silver screen era atmosphere that drew us in. The drinks were excellent.
The Liquid Luck is especially fun, you roll a die and the number sets what edible tarot card they float on it.
Kitschy in a good way but a little 'too cool for school', for my taste. It's only because I always feel weird when I just want just a shot of fernet but not a cocktail they've obviously worked so hard on creating. My man got an old fashioned (see pic).
Zero help looking for the bathroom or direction on where to sit upon first walking in even though I locked eyes with the bartender as dry ice splattered to the floor in front of me. He was busy, I can see that. I can't say they were over the top friendly but nice enough for minimal interaction and the cocktails are definitely on point. I'd go back!
This place serves up fantastic, reasonably priced cocktail classics and has a great atmosphere (albeit a bit on the louder side). The food is generally on point, too, however we recently came and ordered the falafel 'platter,' the platter part seems optional as it was just 4 falafel on a pretty measly bed of tabouleh and what they called 'salsa verde,' which seemed closer to a chimichurri meets a pesto type situation. For being a platter.... where's the pita? Where's the tzatziki? The hummus? Olives? Bueller? For a dish priced at a whopping $24, the platter definitely leaves you disappointed. That's $6 per ball. Even top lebanese restaurants don't charge that much! Without the pita, etc, it is also QUITE a spicy and unbalanced dish, and I like spice! Sad considering how great everything else is! Still. 4 stars.... just spend wisely when ordering ;)
This place is a classy bar. Smart conversations, and good cocktails. It has dim lights.
Fun lounge/bar with a pretty good happy hour! The cauliflower was unique and really good.
The service was friendly.
Had a double vodka soda and the blistered shishito peppers from the happy hour menu. The vodka was vodka. The peppers were spicy, hot, salty, and delicious! Good service, nice vibe.
