Beer and Wine tastings here are a must try. The food is comfy and tasty and fits well with their beers an wines. Great atmosphere and fun place to hang out and chill. Happy hour prices here are also great and quite affordable.
This was THE best experience I've had at a McMenamins hands down. I was almost reluctant to go to my friend's suggestion of a McMenamins since I've had subpar experiences at many locations in the past, however, Nate made this night perfect. We were able to choose our own seats, and so we chose a comfy little corner with a tiny little table. It was just wide enough to fit our drinks and apps. We settled in for (almost 5 hours??) of wonderful service, food, drinks, and crochet. The ambience was very fitting for a cozy, rainy winter evening of good times with good people. If you are lucky enough to visit on a night when Nate is working, congratulations! 10/10 (:
Delicious Luplin Shock Hazy IPA. Friendly bartender. Chill vibe. Great place to stop by for a drink or two.
Tomato soup on Monday was amazing! Great options for happy hour!! Lovely atmosphere. Felt like a cozy pub in NY.
This was a super rad McMenamins! Not only was the decor fun and vibrant, but the food was excellent as well. I ordered the bean and seed gyro and it had some of the best flavors I’ve ever tasted. The service was a little less attentive than I would have liked, but overall it was a good experience!
It's always an amazing bartender that really makes a bar worth frequenting. Kaela, forgive me if I butcher the spelling, is that kind of bartender. McMenamins is a very cool, niche little place. Great atmosphere, good food and good cocktails. However, this bar-artist, bartist if you will, really made it a watering hole worth remembering. I tried every recommendation she had, to include an entire off-menu, secret society cocktail menu that was out of this world. Promote that girl. She has the kind of passion you only find once in a blue moon if you're lucky. Cheers!
Really good food and a chill atmosphere. I liked how they set up shop in an old hotel. It was really nice. It gave me the feeling of being in a speak easy in the 1920's. If you are like me and value quantity as well as quality you will NOT be disappointed! I'm a big dude and I was stuffed when I left. Go with the tots over french fries. "You're welcome!" ;-)
Very cool and atmospheric pub/bar with a great menu of burgers, sandwiches, and simple pub food. Fish & chips were excellent, and service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Great place to visit.
Casual food in a good setting, like basically any McMenamins. Stopped by with my friend the other day and while it took a while for us to finally be seated, we were given two comfy chairs. Our waiter was a bit strange and awkward, but provided good service and kept checking up on us. He was insistent on how good the tea was, of which I got the cranberry orange. I was impressed by the flavor. The T-N-T basket is pretty consistent as in any McMenamins location, nicely battered chicken strips. I upgraded my tots to the truffle fries, which I liked as the truffle oil does not taste too strongly and the texture was crispy. Reasonable prices as well.
We tried the bean and seed gyro and were not disappointed. Great service with quite a large beer list compared to other McMen locations we’ve been to. A great experience even with limited seating due to COVID.
Indoor and outdoor seating. No bar service during COVID, but totally understandable. Staff was so kind and attentive. She offered helpful recommendations for vegetarians and to have the cook split our plates in the kitchen. I really liked that she suggested brews in the same style as our first order- she remembered and assumed we had a type- which was true, and nice.
