Bamboo Sushi

We had nigiri, some rolls, and the aguachile. The Hamachi nigiri was very good, though it was the smallest nigiri I have ever had. We shared 3 rolls. The Hoki Poki was the best of them, it was fantastic. The Sunset roll was good, as was the Friday the 13th though the sauce was a little on the sweet side. The Aguachile is a fantastic dish, something you would expect to find in a world class restaurant. It is a beautiful dish and was delicious. Don't pass on that one.

I have always enjoyed bamboo sushi. The food is always great quality and the rolls are very unique. The green machine with albacore is my absolute favorite roll. My only complaint would be that they change the menu too often. Over the years I have been going I will often find a new favorite just to have it disappear later.

lovely sushi as always. the spicy edamame was so good that we ordered a side of rice to mop up the remaining sauce. the kaleidoscope cocktail is very floral and lovely without being too floral. i was surprised that our dishes all came out at different times, and the miso came out after the sushi, but they comped us the soup for that error. the black sesame brownie is sensational.

We ate everything so quickly I could hardly get a picture because it was all SO GOOD. Definitely the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. In a world of conveyor belt sushi restaurants, this place is truly a gem. Our favorite was the Fry Tide—we actually ordered 2 more of those after finishing our first one. They have great happy hour specials and I also loved the hand roll of the day. We’ll definitely be returning! They were out of quite a few things which was a tad disappointing, but what we got was all delicious.
