Citizen Baker - Portland - Photo album

Immaculate. An iced vanilla latte is such a simple drink but there are some seriously complex flavors here. Like vanilla, but also toasted marshmallow? Honey? I cannot explain it but it's incredible. I got the eggs benedictos to eat, and they come with a side of breakfast potatoes and an arugula sal
Awesome coffee + awesome food + great service!! They serve Stumptown coffee so you know it will be great. The staff is friendly and gets your order out quick. A great coffee shop for a quick bite and good cup of coffee. The bagel sandwich and the avocado toast are delicious!
Welcoming Cafe, priced just right, clean and modern-ish looking. I just wished two things: 1. Breakfast was served later or all day 2. They had more low carb food options besides salad. The girl at the register wanted to be helpful but didn't even know what carbs were or if they had anything not car
Anywhere that serves breakfast food like Citizen Baker has a nice chilled out vibe, friendly staff and plays Moby on the Stereo as the sun comes up gets my vote! Worth a visit if you're near by for breakfast.
Great bakery with nice food and fair prices. The waiting time can be pretty long. Closes early.
We visited on 12/31/22 and let me tell you it was a fantastic experience! Not only did they have sugar free syrups for my coffee but they offered gluten free/sugar free/vegan breakfast options as well! I had the chia parfait and it was quite the delight!!! The next morning I had the keto fat bomb
Really enjoyed eating here, atmosphere was nice as we're the staff. Food is very good, that said the portions are surprisingly big. Great value but if you're budget conscious I'd say any of the breakfast meals could be easily split between two people. On our visit our family had the avacado toast, a
It was the BEST breakfast burrito I have ever had. Go get one!!
Very good food. I had an omelet with buttermilk wheat toast, yum. My hubby had standard eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. All great. I love the coffee too. Highly recommend.
05/19/16: Located in Hotel Eastlund, this place was pleasant. I came in for a small lunch between clients. Food was fresh and well to my liking. The mocha was good. The service people seem nice and the place roomy and clean. I can say that I will be returning to try other items on the menu. Tr
Oh, those croissants! An unpretentious bakery, with perhaps the best chocolate croissant I have ever head (chocolate both in the dough and in the croissant, amazingly flakey). I also enjoyed a very good ham and cheese croissant. With family we also tried a cream cheese pastry and a hazelnut brioch
My friend bought me an iced americano from here. It was made even more delicious by the fact I didn't have to pay for it. Then I mansplained a bunch and pretended to be important because I felt like that's what all the other guys in the place were doing. I don't think that should count against this
Service was pleasant and they offer pastry 'grab bags' for $4 containing four or so day-old items, all of which tasted awesome. Prices for baked goods seem otherwise high. Come early, if not at opening, to have a chance at obtaining a grab bag.
