Group of 5 for lunch. Great service. We came in and sat in the bar area. We had the chips, salsa and guac it was tasty. The daily special was a hash that the group liked. The enchiladas were OK. The chicken tacos were OK.

Second time here. After work dinner for two. The perfect place for comfort and chill. A glass of Cab and a Chili Reina en pork. The perfect place to be.

Wow. 100% gluten free restaurant. I had the best gf french toast of my life. The pork belly bacon was also fantastic and the freshly brewed coffee was very good as well. To top off my experience, I needed to get some work done and the staff was kind enough to allow me to hook up my laptop cord to a plug. This is a must-stop for the gluten free scene in Portland.

Oscar was the best server! So professional and friendly! If that wasn’t enough the food is AMAZING!!! The freshest food I’ve ever had! And it keeps going…. The dessert HANDS DOWN SPECTACULAR! Can’t say enough good things! It’s a must visit and we will be back 🙌🏼

Most amazing service provided by Oscar and Arro! Ordered Chicken Fajitas which were so fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend visiting to experience the most unique and fresh Mexican cuisine! And….try the cheesecake as well!

It took me 10 months to convince my husband to finally give this restaurant a try. It was absolutely worth the wait and we won't be waiting much longer to come back. Food, drinks, dessert... It was all fantastic. Highly highly recommend!!!

What a pleasant surprise! Never know what to expect when venturing into downtown PDX these days. Wife and I were on the hunt for some lunch and I noticed Verde Cocina as we drove by. Pretty extensive menu, but the gentleman in the bar walked us through some of his favorites. I ordered the carne asada (I know that’s rather generic) wife had the chili relleno with pork and we shared a pile of chips and guacamole. The food and the service were both outstanding. Can’t wait to return.

Portland has so many great dining options and this is one of our two favorite restaurants (at any price point). The food is always excellent, there are many healthy options and they use the very best, locally sourced ingredients. However the staff are what really set this place apart; true professionals who are genuinely friendly and welcoming. These days that only happens if they are taken care of by the owners. You can't go wrong dining here and are supporting a business that cares about its employees and patrons.

I know this area of town very well. There were four restaurants right in this exact area within a couple blocks of each other which brought me over to this location often. Seeing the bright lights of Verde Cocina really brought back a great memories of having a restaurant here. And to my wonderful surprise this restaurant was amazing. Being a plant-based eater I was extremely happy with the service the food and the options of More than one slightly okay option for me to order. This menu was full of options and I purchased an incredible tasting dish. So it's delicious that I ate the entire thing. I love the tile old school look however the food and the service did not disappoint. The beverages were on top of their game. Delicious unpretentious and it delivered everything I needed everything I wanted and being plant-based made it even better. Having the options there for omnivores was also amazing for the guests that were with me. I will be back for sure. The chile relleno was the best.
