We live in Los Angeles and frequent Mexico often, we are no strangers to exceptional tacos. Cruzroom has some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. They’re inventive with amazing flavor profiles, the veggie options were surprisingly savory and, for a meat lover, almost as incredible as the meat options. We went back the next day to see if it was a fluke and were happily surprised they were still as tasty as the night before. The spicy pickle chips were top notch too. A++

Delicious creative tacos! We tried Vegan, fish, and meat variations. All were seriously amazing! We can’t to come back! Come during Happy Hour and your tacos are each $1 less.

Like ordering sushi- except with tacos! You will complete your order on a menu form (like sushi!) and submit it inside. The tacos we ordered were all so good, and I stuffed myself silly- I can’t remember which one was my favorite. I highly recommend it, come hungry, too! You’re probably going to want to try them all! Service was prompt and very friendly, too! Love the chill vibe. The only thing is- the benches were a little low, BUT... that didn’t take away from my taco tasting event!!

Fun and funky taco stop. Small plates and the happy hour prices make this cute indoor/outdoor restaurant a little gem! We hit up the Cruzroom to check out the fried pickle and bacon taco, and definitely were hooked! Fried cheese and a little slaw round out this taco version of the cheeseburger. We also tried the fish and chips taco, my second favorite, as well as a steak version and, of course, tater tots. The fried cheese is the win here. A couple of lovely and well crafted drinks complete the satisfaction factor to a T. Take a minute to check this place out, have a couple tacos and fall in love.

What a delight to have happened upon this venue strolling down Alberta street on a Saturday night. I was drawn by the beautiful voice singing and saw an artist singing on stage with a guitar in front of a huge mural wall. I though I was back in Austin for a split second. Turns out Shady Pines Radio was throwing and event with a list of artists lined up- all I needed to do was grab a beer, find myself a seat in the garden and enjoy the music. Wonderful evening with local artists.

Dive bar meets unique taco joint. I enjoyed the atmosphere and was able to find seating fairly quickly both times I visited. The homemade chips and salsa are really good. I’m not a huge fan of the tacos here. I think it’s because of the tortillas. They are a little dry and don’t seem fresh. The unique variation of tacos are good but do not come here expecting traditional tacos.

one of my favorite spots on Alberta. a welcoming patio, delicious house cocktails and incredible, unique tacos you won't find elsewhere! the little drink dinosaurs are a happy touch.

I AM OBSESSED WITH The CRUZROOM ANNEX. I don't typically eat pork, but after reading the description, I was sold! The pork tacos and the jerk tacos are where its at! Its a galley style dinning room with a open kitchen and lively urban atmosphere. Gets even better with a fire pit in the patio and a second secret bar!! You gotta find it for yourself ;) I'm sure it won't disappoint!

Cruz Room is an awesome space! The staff is friendly and the drinks are good. This place is comfortable and the patio is amazing. And....so many good events going on!

I ordered one each of the vegan tacos. So good, wish I could say I savored the unique flavors, but I was so hungry I inhaled them. I don't get to North Portland often, so I'm happy to see favorites are still there and still as good as I remembered late at night. And I got a dinosaur in my perfectly not so sweet just like I like it margarita! The fire pit looks cosy and fun, will have to come back with friends.

The best tacos we've ever had! Such unique flavor combinations. Plus, the drinks come with mini toy dinosaurs in them - so fun! Nice patio, inside restaurant is pretty unassuming, service was acceptable. Go for the tacos!

Stand up Comedian and Actor Melina Best was featured here. They have specialty drinks, tots (plain and decked out) and well-liked spicy tacos (ex The Jerk). One of the bartenders even will make special mayo when they run out.

I really enjoyed dinner and drinks at Cruzroom. The tacos were outstanding, and they have five delicious vegan options. They have a few other tasty looking options on the menu, but tacos is what this place is about. It's a good specialty, but the menu is limited. My favorite was the Sunday Pastime taco, with Buffalo style soy curls. Well executed combination of flavors and texture. Yum! Cruzroom also has a full bar, an interesting selection of infused liquors made in-house, and a good lineup of beers on rotation. The place has a low key but cool vibe and nice location on Alberta that is close to lots of other good hangouts. It was raining when we visited, so we sat inside, but it looks like they have a pretty awesome patio for outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

They have their own house infused vodka and drinks come with cute dinasours. I really enjoy their tacos and they are nicely priced at happy hour.
