Good food. Lots of old photos of area on walls. Only minus was french fries. Thin with skin on got limp quickly. Maybe heat in oven before serving? Great place to go. Would go back.

This is a cute pub with great food. Definitely worth stopping by. The service was great. I'd recommend the bacon jam burger and fries. Loved their homemade ranch.

Been here a few times, and Tabor Tavern never disappoints. Hearty American fare in a dark cozy pub type atmosphere. You might not have to wait if you get there early. The burger has always been good, but today I opted for the fish n chips because it was recommended. Big piece of haddock with malt aioli. Very tasty, and the cole slaw was actually good. I started with the available soup today, Cheesy Potato Jalapeno... was so good and spicy. Really enjoyed the meal tonight, and the service was excellent.

This is probably my favorite local pub. Lots of options to drink, and THE BEST burger in town.... not opinion, basically a fact. The guy that owns or runs the place is nice and around often. The place is always busy, but never in a negative way. The food never takes too long, and it's always hot and the quality never wavers. Seriously the best little spot in NE Portland. Everyone should check it out. 🙃

What a breath of fresh air this little north tabor tavern is! The food is exactly what you’d expect at a tavern…amazing burgers, crazy good kale salads, muscle dishes and classics like Mac n cheese, chicken dishes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, staff is friendly and attentive AND I come back every time I’m in town without fail. My sister received a gift card so margaritas for all!!

A friend of mine lives near this restaurant and recommended we go there for dinner. It is a neighborhood tavern serving mainly burgers, sandwiches, and salads. It was a nice evening, so we sat outside on one of their sidewalk picnic tables. The food was good, as was their service. They have a small parking lot which was full, so we ended up parking nearby on the street. This is a great spot for casual dining.

4/1/23 Update - This restaurant remains one of our favorites! The staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious. Delightful find near Mt. Tabor. Nice and chill on a Sunday afternoon. Music was thoroughly enjoyable with heavy female vocal led indie/alt rock. Not sure if that's all the time or just the mood of the day. Drinks were delicious! Try the French Kick for a tart, fruity, vodka drink. Fried Chicken Sandwich was delicious as well. Crispy airy fried chicken in a delicious bun with aioli. Fun area and some outside seating.

Visited right when they opened for service. The place quickly filled up. I ordered the fish and chips after the waitress recommended it over a burger. This was the best fish and chips I’d had in town. Highly recommended you try it. The French fries and sauces made the dish even more delicious. The server was very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend you visit!

Tabor Tavern is a regular destination with a particular group of out of town relatives, who can't wait to return whenever they come to town. Salads, mac & cheese, and a variety of burgers never fail to impress. The chalkboard always has a selection of beers to go with all food choices. All in all, Tabor Tavern is a great match for the neighborhood - great quality without stuffiness.
