King Tide Fish & Shell

Should be 5 stars. Visited 10/13 for dinner. We had an amazing breakfast (5 stars for all) and wanted to try dinner here as well since we were staying in the hotel. My wife had a lovely meal, the Branzino fish. I inquired about which is better, the halibut or the steak, with our waiter Christopher. He was adamant it should be the halibut. Though parts of it were extremely light and flaky, it was extremely boney compared to previous dishes I've tried. He remembered to fill my wife's empty glass multiple times throughout dinner but ignored my presence and comments for most of the entire meal after initially ordering. It finishing up with Christopher bringing out two of the blandest deserts I've ever tasted. The coffee I requested with dessert did arrive on time though it was quite obviously old and burnt. I couldn't believe it, no offer of cream or sugar and undrinkable coffee. My wife tasted it because she thought I was overreacting, the coffee was definitely undrinkable. I had such high hopes as the entire hotel staff has been unbelievably friendly and helpful and breakfast that morning was great. Though we'd pre purchased breakfast, we skipped the last day and went elsewhere.

Absolutely hands up the most delicious dinner. The calamari melted in your mouth. We requested a second order of calamari. I have had calamari from Oahu to the East Coast this is by far the best ever. The clam spaghetti is fabulously delectable. The merging of flavors is a fusion of perfection. Thank you for my perfect Birthday dinner and a exquisite dessert

This restaurant has great service and a relaxed feel, we sat outside because it was a perfect day. The fried calamari with black garlic tartar was awesome- best I’ve ever had. Their non-alcoholic cocktails were all great. For dinner I had the seafood stew, it was perfect and so so good. My wife had the 8oz ribeye dish, the sides were perfect but she felt the steak was a bit lacking in flavor so we would recommend skipping that dish. We will be back, great dinner overall!

What a great experience! We have family in the Dragon Boat and this is the second year we have posted up here to watch and brunch! The service was exceptional. Food was great! We appreciate the hospitality, some guest were annoyed that we stayed longer than expected and it might have caused problems for the staff, so we apologize for any issues that may have caused. The restaurant was beyond professional and we will continue to create memories with our family your venue. Thank you for going above and beyond!!
