From Clark county to being told about hot lips, the place is great and friendly, all different kinds of pizza. Also the reason I loved this place and went to hot lips was for their varieties of “vegan pizza” I was told there is always different kinds . The one I had was broccoli sweet potato onion the sauce was butternut squash i haven’t had such amazing pizza in Clark and variety.
Lol I couldn’t help to start eating first
My wife loves this place so much that we literally stop EVERY time we visit the Portland area!
That is saying something...
Personally I think it is okay, but she swears it's the best ;-)
Overall 8/10
Service was fast, they have a few arcade cabinets and very reasonably priced beer. Worth a stop if you need to grab a slice or a whole pie downtown.
Great vibe, great service, great cookies, decent selection of great pizza, and happy hour after 8, including deals on food! Did I mention this place is great?
Wow... that was a good pizza... the crust was good and chewy. The sauce was spicy and plenty of it (maybe a little salty, but then I had the Meat Supreme, so that might have been the sausage talking), and the toppings were fresh and not overwhelming. A 10” was plenty between two responsible people for lunch. I had delivered so I missed out on the ambiance, but I’ll certainly be there next week... Good job, people!
The service was quick and courteous, and the pizza exceeded expectations. Hot Lips seems to have an iconic seasoning they put on quite a few of their pizzas. Their daily specials never disappoint, and pepperoni is always a safe bet for meat eaters. There are also a number of vegetarian and vegan options. Great for those looking for a quick bite without the fast food feel. The outdoor seating in the back provides a quieter eating environment.
The cashier and cook were friendly. The cashier went out of her way to make us happy. They had gluten free pizza by the slice!! It tasted pretty good!! We got a beer and cider that were pretty good. Affordable too.
I always enjoy coming to this location for lunch. The staff are always super friendly, and the pizza is always that New York style, super thin crust that I like. They always seem to keep the shakers full with Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian spices. And they will often have really great lunch specials.
You want a good, quick bite of pizza, well, for my money, this must be the place. Considering that they've expanded throughout the metro are, says a lot about what they do and do well and that is make some awfully great pizza. The service is pretty good and you have to allow, that in rush hours, especially at a campus location, there'll be some delay, but what you're getting is worth the wait. Oh and they've got some great soda's too.
This place isn't bad, but it also doesn't live up to the hype, Alright? Pizza strategically next to a college campus should not be expensive. They have $4ish slices and whole pizzas are way more. They have an inconvenient lunch special that runs from like noon-2, and again, college classes are all in session right then. The pizza is usually pretty good though, I've had one bad slice here and I asked the dude running the counter if he could replace it, which he did. Gotta say though, I don't know what these guys were thinking with the Hot Lips soda line, even the employees here aren't very fond of it.
