Bamboo Sushi - Portland - Photo album

Wow, I was really impressed with the green machine and would 100% return to get that again. The other rolls weren’t that impressive, and definitely on the higher side price-wise. My server had an attitude and, as a fellow server, I was a bit taken back with this but I am assuming she was just having
I've eaten sushi all over the country and this was the best I've had - bar none, on god, no cap, whatever the current vernacular. The sushi is based beyond belief. The owners truly understand the fish/flavor pairings like no other sushi establishment. The king salmon sashimi was mind-blowing as was
We stop at Bamboo every time we come to Portland! The vibe is great, upbeat; the service is good to great; but the food is hands down some of the most fresh sushi I've ever had. So good we dug in before snapping a pic! The Tuna Nigiri is a Must. Our first time visiting, it was the first raw I'd ever
The atmosphere was moody(in a good way), a server named Ryan was super helpful and quick. Food was amazing and delicious. Best sushi this side of the river.
the sushi was the best we have had since Kauai, and we have been to Washington DC, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and south Florida. Simply awesome fish. We didn’t get into any of the fancy junk with avocado and cream cheese, but if you want great traditional sushi, this is the place. Derick our waiter
Bamboo is amazing, highly recommend. The tuna sashimi was wonderful and we just kept getting more until we couldn't eat another bite. The rolls are also fantastic. It's never hard to find something you can't get enough of here.
My dinner at Bamboo Sushi was absolutely one to remember, definitely the most authentic sushi experience I’ve had so far. I went with my brother, who pushed me to choose a few things outside of the typical rolls that I’ve had before. We ended up choosing a variety of Nigiri and Sashimi to curate our
This was my 3rd time dining at this location and every time it just gets better. I added albacore to the Green Machine, highly recommend…it was so fresh and flavorful! The Rainbow roll is always a winner and the scallop nigiri was the perfect level of spicy.
After many failed experiences in the world of sushi in Portland, we finally found our spot in this gem of a place. Nigiri quality is best in town along with plenty of complex and exciting rolls - yes the green machine is a favorite for a reason, don't miss it! The cauliflower app was also one worth
Stopped in at Bamboo Sushi yesterday with my partner. We really enjoyed our visit. I remember commenting that the rainbow roll and shrimp tempura roll both had a flavor clarity I haven’t found elsewhere in Portland yet, and the ingredients seemed very fresh. Also recommend the sucker punch mocktail
We love Bamboo Sushi! I have celiac disease and it's one of the few mostly gluten-free places I'm comfortable eating. We do have some issues at most of the Bamboo Sushi locations with the vegetable tempura getting cooked long enough. Which happened to us again on this visit. The Beaverton location h
We love this restaurant since it opened years ago. The menu has changed over the years and we've lost and gained some favorite items. This new menu after the pandemic closing has left us full and wanting more. The new roll with tempura fried shoshito peppers and avocado is so delicious and highly re
Bamboo Sushi is one of our favs! We got to partake in some happy hour items which were delicious. The rice on the happy hour avocado roll is a little chewy. Otherwise, food and service was fantastic!
Best sushi ever !!! The food was so fresh & everything we tried was absolutely delicious!! Our server Allix took such great care of us & was very knowledgeable, personable & gave great recommendations on food & drinks ! We were so happy with everything, can’t wait to come back !!!
Staff have been universally friendly, kind and efficient in all three of the locations I have tried. I was addicted to the spicy edamame at first bite. The generously proportioned spicy tuna hand rolls are delicious.
Food was fantastic. Grilled kama was seasoned perfectly. Crispy rice nigiri was a delightful surprise. Marinated sushi was far more delicious than I expected. Truly my only complaint was that the AC was brutally cold.
This place has great sashimi. The whole staff...hostess, bartender, server, was top notch. Nura is the sweetest and we really enjoyed our trip to Portland because of her kindness. She has attention to detail and goes out of her busy way to make one feel welcome. She’s also very knowledgeable with sa
