Elephants Delicatessen - Portland - Photo album

Nice deli with a lot of food options and interesting products and knick-knacks. We weren't that hungry but wanted to pickup a few small items to bring with us to the park. We got a sandwich, some chicken tenders for our daughter, and some nice bottled drinks. If you're headed for a romantic picni
Wasn’t a huge fan of the fish tacos, I think that if they offered the fried fish they use for the fish n chips in the tacos they would knock it out of the park. The fish n chips were delish! The burger was really good, and the tenders with fries were good. The fries by themselves were tasty, want to
We didn’t try nearly enough of all the amazing food options, but we really enjoyed the tomato orange soup, and the mushroom soup. However the standout is the arancini balls, which they will heat for you if you are eating there. They will let you taste too, so don’t be shy about trying before you buy
Went there for a free fondue tasting. Had a few drinks. They have this amazing chocolate bar and so many different options it's ridiculous on food. Oh they're in the back baby they're in
Stopped to pick up a quick bite. My partner also wanted to look at the gift items, which were fun. I also got a Latte to go with my bake goods. All was delicious as I've found in the past. Also took home some soup. I recommend the Mama Leoni chicken soup. It's great.
Elephants Delicatessen is a unique combination of a deli, gift shop, and restaurant all in one. While the selection of food options is extensive and diverse, the prices for the pre-packaged items and gift shop products seem to be on the higher side. The food itself is not bad, although the arugula
Great place for foodies. The vibe is cozy and welcoming. You might be overwhelmed by the fact you have so many choice to make. There are salads, sandwiches, desserts, soup, and etc. pretty much everything. We chose bacon breakfast burritos and cinnamon twist which was yummy. You should try their hot
I’ve been here many times. Each time I enjoy the great food. I had a fried calamari which was a tad bit over fried. It’s hard to get perfectly fried calamari. Anyway the shop is cute and so many different choices. They also carry a lot of prepackaged foods both their own and other’s. Some gift items
The most affordable lunch we have had in Portland since moving here in August, 2023. The pizza slices were HUGE, tasty and affordable. The canned beers were exceptionally priced. It was cheaper to purchase a tasty IPA than a bottle of water. Of top of that the delicatessen has character!! I say t
There's so much variety to choose from being here. Parking wasn't difficult to find and the selection again, is SO vast. I got their fish n chips and it was absolutely delightful. You either have great or bad fish n chips and this one was fantastic! Would come back when I'm in town again.
Wow, what a great place to stop and refuel after a visit to the Japanese garden. Sandwiches, soups, pizza by the slice, cheeses, and several cakes and cookies and coffees for dessert. I loved the slices of thin pizza with arugula and tomatoes, and fig and prosciutto. The pine nut/ rosemary tart was
Great selection of made to order and deli food in a bright vibrant setting tucked in NW. So many options and lots of great things to take home too!
There's about 6 options for breakfast. They are premade so no customization. Staff is incredibly friendly. In fact I was nervous about my meal and the server later came from behind counter and checked in with me to ensure I enjoyed my breakfast. Very kind. Where this place really excels is in their
Always great! Delicious food. Good prices. Good wine bottles & gifts selection. Bar & coffee. They have everything. Deli serve food, hot food cafeteria style, desserts, cold food in fridges. They have breakfast to dinner. Open early (8 AM) to late (8 PM).
This place is absolutely amazing. It has something for EVERYONE. Drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, everything. Sandwiches, pizza, burgers, fish tacos, desserts, just to name a few. Really friendly staff and tons of seating outside and in the back room. I go there every time there is a Timbers game
Throughout the years, the service here shines. Also, everything is delicious. Get all the things.
