Always love the food at this location. The place has really changed since my 1st visit. The food is better and the place is nicer. This has to be 1 of my favorite Mexican Restaurants if not my favorite. The place offers a nice bar and an outside bar too. The outdoor seating is large and quite the happening spot on Weekends for sporting events. They have a large selection of items to eat and drink too. I almost always order their fajitas. The fajitas are real good and the rice is the best. We have tried the carne guisada and it's good. I really liked their tortas but they no longer offer the one I ordered all the time. My wife ordered the caldo de res and it was real good. Lots of veggies and meat. Very generous portion. I have 1 complaint and that's the Shrimp cocktail, very little shrimp for the price it should be packed with shrimp. We were so disappointed in the 10 or 12 shrimp when every other place packs theirs with shrimp. I don't recommend this item. Service is almost always good, but since we go there often we try to get the same waitress we know and she is the best. My favorite thing is the green salsa, they don't bring it out so you have to request it. Definitely must try if your in the Humble Porter area

This place exceeded my expectations. My mom took me there because I would probably have never went on my own. I got the carne guisada and it is probably one of the best I have tasted from a restaurant . The waitress was very friendly and attentive. They make good fluffy rice.

We just move to Kingwood area and sometimes see this restaurant on our way home. Then we decided to give it a try. We came here for dinner on Saturday evening around 6pm. There weren’t many customers in the restaurant at that time. However, after we finished our order, it suddenly was full of customers. So I recommend you should go before 6pm or maybe before 7pm. Their menu doesn’t have descriptions of the food, just the names. So we had to go to Google to see some pictures and showed the waitress what we wanted. The foods came out after 15 mins. They were quite good. The meat was still salty to me but it was okay to eat with rice and tortilla. I don’t know if I want to come back but it worths a try if you haven’t been here before.

On this day my friend and I went to Alma Latina for drinks. We started off with Strawberry Frozen Margaritas that were very flavorful n delish. I also had a favorite of mine a Dos XX rita. We sat outside to enjoy the cool breeze. As the night progressed they had a DJ come out to entertain the families eating and drinking. The staff was friendly and expedient. We had a Great time.

We love Alma Latina. Food is always good. Staff is attentive. We like to sit outside and enjoy the bands on Fridays.

Amazing Caldo de Res (beef soup). The flavors were perfectly balanced and delicious.

We loved it!!! We will be back again but if you order the fish tell them not to over cook it. Other than that everything was delicious and the margaritas and Micheladas we're good too.
