We are doing a really cool road trip before gas prices make it undoable, this gem in Portage Wisconsin is Amazing! I was totally in the mood for a good small town breakfast and this place is exactly what I wanted. I got the Farmers Skillet and it came with two pancakes, so much food for $9.99!! And it’s not only the quantity but it’s absolutely delicious. If you’re riding by or even if you’re not, this place is worth the drive. The staff was also incredible, small town, happy, and friendly. Everything I love about America!

Excellent as always... Usually when restaurants do pictures of their food on their menu... the food comes and it never looks like the picture. At the red apple the food not only looks great, it tastes great, and very generous proportions. The wait staff is second to none. 5 Stars at Everything!!!

We stopped for a late lunch. There were only a few patrons. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They explained they had increased most menu items by $1 but, they are awaiting new menus. The food was well prepared and tasty

This is our regular breakfast place about twice a week. The food and service are great. The waitresses are all fun to joke around with.

We stopped in at the Red Apple Restaurant. Walking in the door you get that small hometown feel. We were greeted right away and got a seat in a booth. We looked over the menu and I found a breakfast gyro burrito to order and of course some coffee. There was a little bar seating area that we liked. There was also an open kitchen that you can see from your seats. The food came out before we could even get a refill of coffee, the burrito was delicious and had great gusto, full of taste. It was a good size and very filling. Shayla ordered the Corned Beef Skillet. Her dish came with peppers, onions, corned beef hash, and a side of French toast. So much food! Everything blended together for a fantastic dish. There are three Red Apple Restaurants which are family owned but not affiliated with each other. This is a great little spot to check out. 4.5 stars out of 5 $$
