I just got Water Street thru the drive thru. My order got messed up (we all make mistakes) so I called and Charlie answered and was very professional and handled it very well and they fixed the mistake. Would definitely recommend them! The coffee is delicious and the staff is very nice!
Water Street Coffee in general is quite awesome. Good coffee, relaxed atmosphere, and it's always great to provide patronage to a local business. This particular location is great! Not saying any of the others are bad at all, believe me.
This specific spot is awesome because it's very spacious. There are even 4-5 various areas to sit in: a lounge/open section with a fireplace, "normal" table seating, a sublevel for slightly more private meetings, a patio area outside, and an upstairs area.
The overall vibe is comforting and provides a great sanctuary for those looking to study, have a tasty beverage, or just get away from things.
We stopped here on the way back home. Everything was great, the girl behind the counter helped us with every need.
Outside there a nice beautiful spot that you can sit, have your coffee & cake and enjoy the weather!
The spinach and feta turnover was delicious, especially the crust. The latte I had was one of the better ones I've ever had too.

Great spot to get coffee. Lots of options from drip, to espresso drinks, teas and more! They also have a great selection of milk and milk alternatives. Their food is always wonderful but it is a bit pricey.

Fabulous coffee, DELICIOUS egg and cheese bagel and amazing customer service!! The egg was very well seasoned, the bagel had a very nice toast, and the cheese was perfectly melted. Tastes better than I could make at home and was a very good value for money

It is more than just a beverage used to prop up my heavy eyelids and scrape my parts into human form to survive the harsh headwinds of this predatory year.
Coffee is my deep delight.
Water Street is a standout. The large location in Portage at Centre and Shaver Road is the best of the three locations I have had a cuppa at two other locations. What sets this location apart is the lovely patio with lots of outdoor seting and the bright, large double level dining are. There is a ton of natural light an abundance of seating.
The coffee is so-so good. they offer many different beans for the daily drip coffee served-some of the varietals are very uncommon and rarely seen offered on coffehouse menus. The brew strength is exactly right-full, robust without any bitterness.
They offer a wide range of local/homemade pastries/sandwiches/cookies/small lunch bites and breakfast wraps/burritos. The ones I have tried are as very tasty.
They are a bit pricey compared to some of the other local coffee joints, but they are also far better than most, far at the top of my Kalamazoo caffeine list.

I was just passing through town and wanted a coffee. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful! I got a latte with sugar free vanilla syrup and it was delicious. They offered a variety of sandwiches/wraps and muffins as well.
The space was also beautiful and had plenty of seating.
Excellent Coffee! It was a bit pricey even compared to Starbucks. Overall a good cup of Joe!
Vegan black bean and sweet potato burrito was excellent. A little spiciness to it.
Also had a sweet & spicy chai latte with oat milk.
