Great value and food! The owner is so friendly and service is always pretty quick.
My favorite place in town to get boba, which is what I normally come in for (pretty frequently). We ordered dinner tonight for the first time in years and it was so good!

Food tasted great. Service was good and food came out quick. Their winter hours vary and when I was there in March they close at 830pm. I had the sweet and sour shrimp with fried rice.

Update: loved Golden Ocean, but it has closed. This location is under new ownership as Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant. They are featuring full dine-in options as of their grand opening on 12/19/21

Excellent Chinese! We got 2 combinations- one with egg foo yong and beef broccoli. Both great flavor and awesome portion with fried rice and sweet sour chicken/pork. Great meal for waiting for the ferry on stand by. Came out in about 10min.
I was ready for non-American meal after weekend of pizza/burger/fish&chips. Thank you Golden Ocean Restaurant. My tummy is super happy!

I have not had a lot of dishes from their menu but what we ordered to go was not good and I will never go back. Sweet and sour pork...pork with thick coating of batter in a container....sauce in another container....no pineapple,onion,peppers,etc. Won Ton crab puffs....not good. Mongolian beef. I know this dish is just onion and beef in a sauce but way more onion than beef.

Yummy! Try the Orange Beef, it's the best in the state. Restaurant dining area is just a little run down but NOT dirty or musty or anything like that. Wait staff are friendly and the food comes out quickly after you order. Not overpriced either, give these guys a shot, you just might be impressed.
