We look forward to going to this Farmers Market due to the excellent variety of veggies and often fruit. Although I must say that I didn't see much fruit there yesterday; however, for that said, there were plenty of vegetables, and most likely, the fruit will be incoming.
Hubby and I like to escape to Port Townsend a couple of times a year; the town is far enough to feel like we've gotten out of our norm but close enough in case a delicate situation happens. I am a caregiver, and I haven't the luxury of being able to go off for more than a few hours, not yet at least. And we love Port Townsend with the beautiful old architecture, a few of the stores, and their farmers market, and right now, it has a lot more to offer than most local ones around me.
Typical items offered are vegetables, fruits, flowers, and handmade items such as a wide variety of baked goods, jewelry, eating ware, holistic items, ciders, wines, art, ceramics, several food vendors, and more!
I have never been to this farmers market and have not seen it extremely busy.
As far as parking goes, the market is neighboring neighborhoods. I don't recall ever seeing designated parking areas for this market. If there is, I haven't found it. The two options that I am aware of are parking downtown and walking up to it; it would be several blocks, but on a nice day, it is doable, and the other option is to find parking around the neighborhoods, as many of us do!
If you choose parking around the neighborhood, I urge you to please be considerate of people's lawns, driveways, and personal property but enjoy viewing the incredible old architecture that most of these homes offer.
Right now the farmers market is open on Saturdays only from 9am to 2pm.

One of the best farmers markets in the state. Beautiful produce, great food and craft offerings, and even live entertainment (though it's been known to vary in quality).
I was just wondering when the farmers market would be opening up again.... They have wonderful things for sale along some w/yummy goodies too!!!!

Always fresh fruit and veggies, great breads from multiple different bakeries, fantastic coffee, and even fresh kombucha. This market has everything
Small Farmer's market but good produce. It is pricey.
Great farmer's market with alot of selection of local grown veggies, baked goods, and fish. Also alot of local artisans of home goods, honey, sipping vinegar, jewelry and other goodies. Several stands of yummy foods including hand pies, bratwursts, crab cakes and baked goods. Definitely worth a visit!
Nice historical town a lot to see so nice buildings to see
Nice selection of fresh local veggies. I wish there were more selections of food, although I'm not sure sushi is offered at many markets. Fresh and made to order.cracked. I go for just that.. also a coffeestand, local bakery, roasted nuts and crabcakes.
