We came from San Diego and searched for tasty Mexican foods in Port Orchard. We love this place❤️. The restaurant offered Free chips and salsa dips. We ordered Burrito and Fish taco. The burrito came in a considerable proportion. Fish taco came in decent size (unlike some places that serve tiny tacos.) Good location to walk around the Port Orchard old town after a big meal.

Fantastic restaurant with great Mexican food. I'm a big carne asada fan and this place has one of the best. Salsa and bean dip. Chips are great. And the horshata is fantastic. If you haven't been, you need to go!

I am from out of town and always look for good Mexican food when I visit new places. It wasn't hard to find in Port Orchard surprisingly enough! We came into La Palapa 2 days ago and we are back again today. Everything is good here from the chips and salsa to the margaritas! I've had the fish tacos both times because they do them up right! I would highly recommend La Palapa to anyone looking for quality Mexican food in Port Orchard!

WOW this place is good. The portions are huge, and everything is very flavorful and not salty at all. I had a shrimp dish in a cream sauce with mushrooms, bell peppers and onions and it was incredible. Husband's carnitas were some of the best I've ever had - fatty and wet and not salty. Just excellent. Might have to make this my go-to place for Mexican food.

Food was DELICIOUS! Great portions. Staff were so friendly and checked in to see how we were doing regularly. Quick service too, especially considering the portions! Can't wait to go back :)

Owner is attentive and friendly and checks on guests. Food is great and portion sizes are plentiful. They're our go-to place now that Puerto Vallarta caught fire. And honestly, I like the smaller atmosphere. In an age where Port Orchard is rapidly expanding, La Palapa brings it back to its small town roots

REVIEW UPDATE: 9/27/2019 - We came back for dinner and ordered their most expensive item on the menu, the Steak Ranchero and Carne Asada. As expected it was super delish! Plus the plate was gigantic! 😊 Check the pics I added for your curiosity. The Staff are wonderful, kind and friendly people. Even the Chef came to us and check on us and asked us if we liked our meal. I love my dining experience here. Giving it a five-star now! So guys if you’re reading this be sure to come and check it out. And tell them Mila Dijamco sent ya! 🤣😂 This is a small Mexican Grill who impressed us with super delicious meals we ordered for lunch. The refried beans taste like sweet milk! I can't believe how good my chicken tacos are. The chicken breasts are so tender and juicy and pico de gallo was super fresh and crunchy! Will recommend this place and come back another time for sure! Thank you La Palapa!
