Lake Fx Grill

So good! I sat outside on the patio with my mom and the weather was just perfect. The patio is great because its partly covered and you can sit in the shade. Wasn't too crowded but it did start getting busy around 6pm. I had the crab and shrimp dip which was perfect. I also had the perch with some fried cauliflower. Was so good we took a dessert home too! The brownie cookie sundae was great but next time I'd like to try the cinnamon bread pudding. I certainly will be coming back. Really decent prices, even for the seafood! The view was beautiful as well. Thanks so much Lake Fx!

I thought about giving it 4, but the servers and the food were just too good. Being there on the 4th of July, from out of town, we expected a longer wait - but it wasn't bad at all. Servers and the kitchen had to deal with some fairly non-merciful guests, that didn't appreciate the extra work the staff were doing to cover some missing employees. But the staff kept smiling, even through the multiple times food and drinks were sent back...even through the A/C being down...even through having to tell us they were out of the many things our party requested. What they did have, we totally enjoyed! Delicious, and even our e kids cleaned their plates. Good locally sourced wine, good farm to table options, esp. for a seafood place, and a great amount of seating. The manager/owner could plan better for holidays so food doesn't run out and scheduled staff are reliable, but the two ladies that worked their tails off deserve double tips for the next month!

I've tried this place for the third and last time. The view is lovely, the service is great, but it kind of stops there. The food just isn't on par with the prices, and I question the cleanliness of the restaurant. We sat inside by the south windows and our table was crawling with ants. We actually had to pull it away from the wall so they would stop getting on our table from the window/wall. We ordered fish tacos and a chicken salad, and they were just okay. Fish tacos were bland, not much going on there. Chicken salad tasted like it came off a salad bar. We absolutely love the owner's other two restaurants, where we've never had a bad experience, so it's unfortunate to have to leave a bad review, but...I do reviews for a reason, and this is kind of something I'd want to know before choosing a place I was unfamiliar with.

We went here for supper and it was great! We sat outside on the deck overlooking the river. They served sweet potato rolls with a cinnamon honey butter, and they were amazing! We ordered the Smoked Whitefish Poke Bowl and the Broiled Walleye. Both meals were delicious and just the perfect amount of food. Our waitress, Jordan, was very pleasant. Prices were very reasonable. Will definitely eat here again!
