Kate’s Downtown hosted my bridal shower last Sunday and I am still completely blown away at how perfect the day was! Kate & her staff were the most helpful, welcoming, and efficient when it came to ensuring the event ran seamlessly & smoothly! The soup, salad, sandwiches, and fruit were fresh & delicious. The handpicked floral arrangements on each table were beautiful. Truly every last detail was mindful. Kate made us feel like family. I cannot say enough good things! Thank you again for the best day- 10/10 recommend!

Kate’s Downtown is a personal small town cafe experience that will leave you not only exiting with a full belly, but a warm heart! Located right downtown Port Huron, within walking distance from the River. Everything about this place is spot on! From the food choices to the AmAzInG staff. No matter what you order, you will love. Some items rotate with the season keeping this menu fresh and fun. You will often see the owner Kate working just as hard as the staff she employs. The cafe is decorated beautifully and often displays local artists and changes with the seasons. If you’re in the mood for just a coffee or a lunch, Kate’s is definitely the place to check out.

Avocado toast and hot chocolate made with almond milk, topped with almond whipped cream was a choice I'll have dreams about. it was that good! My daughter chose the breakfast sandwich, with a Carmel latte espresso which was equally as delicious she said. Wonderful staff and the batista was seriously the best 👌 Definitely will be back. Highly recommend 👏👏

I will always sing praises of this place! Kate knows all her customers and will make you feel like family! She is hilarious and so kind. The drinks are amazing (best chai latte in the thumb/world, amazing food (breakfast and lunch menu) and the baked goods are great. The seasonal menus are always a fun hit. The staff is so sweet. You'll want to support this business because of their kindness, but also keep coming back because the product is so so good.
