American Grill

A no-frills diner, but we were pleasantly surprised. My husband had the NY strip.... it could have handled a bit more seasoning on a hotter grill but it was still good... came with a nice salad, veggies and potatoes. I had the blackened salmon which was delicious! Clam chowder and french fries were also very good. Both meals even included dessert - a great value! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

First time we eat there it was absolutely amazing. I ordered the steak and my wife ordered the steak and shrimp. The steak was Seasoned great. After that 1st time it's been down hill for us. We've ordered the steak 2 different times and both times were not seasoned at all and the potatoes were well not great either.

I have been to the American Grill many times to eat and I’ve never had an issue before tonight. I walked in and was seated. I was bored so I decided to turn on my timer on my phone. As I sat there, I watch 4 different groups of people come in, be seated, get drinks and have their orders taken. Eventually a waitress asked me if I had been help yet and I told her no. I looked at my timer and 17 minutes had passed. As the waitress went to grab a menu for me, she ripped it out of the holder in disgust. Not sure what she was mad about when I was the one who had been sitting there for 17 minutes before anyone offer to wait on me. So I got up and walked out and I’ll never go back again. Bad attitude equals no gratitude, I’ll be supporting another local restaurant. The only reason I gave them a star is so I could post this.
